    As a fueler I love that you went through and did lights on it, my only issue is you have the fuel hose coming out of the panel that the H.A.V. (Hand Actuated Vaulve) is located.

      Thanks man,, how you doing?, Good I hope,
      Unfortunately, the printing firm that I've worked for, for 18 years, has just gone into administration, which has left me waiting for my compensation package, so my modeling has had to slow down for the next few weeks,,not the end of the world thought.
      Maybe I can make a living building models,lol,
      Tornado will be a couple of weeks off completion..

      @@clonefox80Hey buddy all fine out here in USA. Sorry bout your job. Really sucks but good to hear your positive. Don't know much about England. But you'd make a killin' selling your beautiful models out here. I'll keep an eye out for the Tornado. Hang in there my friend.

      Thanks man,
      I've not forgotten about the simple cockpit lighting demo, that I promised you, I need to stock up on the white l.e.d's.
      How's your SU27 coming on?

    What lighting system did u use and did u have to drill out holes in the Lights?
    Great vid
    Keep it up!

    • @clonefox80
      @clonefox80  Před 4 lety +1

      Thanks man,
      All the lights had to be drilled out, using a pin vice and 0.8 mm drill bit.
      There is no lighting system, to speak of, it's just 2 colours of l.e.d.( microlitz smd's ),
      White and red,,all reds are linked together and are any static whites (headlights ,,,)
      The strobes are run through a 555 timing chip and a decade counter, to get the random effect,,this is a 6v power supply running it, so resistors are needed on the circuits so they don't exceed 5v and pop.
      There's 2 output sockets in the back, to power 2 more models at the same time.
      Pretty cool I thought..
      Thanks again.

    • @clonefox80
      @clonefox80  Před 3 lety +1

      @@thepapryk there is no battery,,,it runs from a 6v power adapter,,,

    The interior part at the back, is that part of the kit or did you make it?

    • @clonefox80
      @clonefox80  Před 3 lety +1

      The rear of the kit , just had moulded closed doors, so I chopped them out and added the power output sockets and bits of old photo etch to busy it up.
