I love the looks on the twins' faces when they are first served their bao like they're trying to figure out this unusual looking "sandwich". Unfortunately, they didn't seem too impressed with the taste. I had to laugh when Guinevere said there was poop inside and then later held her bao up like it was a dirty diaper - so funny! I loved how Gwen told Ana not to hit her instead of hitting back - very grown up! Ana's "super pouty lip act" didn't fool me...she's such a little kidder! I loved seeing the looks of delight on the twins' faces as they playfully kissed their Dad. Playtime seemed to win vs. eating today, but it was sure fun to watch! 🥰💜💖🤟👍🤟👍❣❣
Alicia and Walt, you're wonderful parents, but I want to thank you for being patient with us, your audience. Hi Barton family! Such a great video. The girls light up when daddy arrives. I love the twins talking, sentences are getting longer, I love the playing with their fingers and their imagination. A very enjoyable video. I really think these two are a joy to watch. They certainly have their ups and downs and sometimes there more downs then ups. But as soon as daddy got involved the whole picture changed. They started talking more and were more interested in doing what they would normally do. They are your typical two year old. No reprimand for the accidental hit, because, as Alicia said, " She didn't mean to ". It is still worth encouraging a child to say sorry though, even if it wasn't done on purpose. ( That is not " Sorry for what I did ", but " Sorry if it hurt you ". Or for any damage accidentally caused, eg. to property ). I think mama & dad are already teaching this, as I have sometimes heard the twins say it in those circumstances. A & W do not correct every little thing, ( which would mean they were constantly nagging, and their children would just eventually end up ignoring them ), but they don't OVERLOOK everything either. My dad used to tie knots in the corners of a napkin or large clean handkerchief, and make a napkin hat on sunny days to stop his bald patch from getting burnt !

I am curious about the time of day these videos are made…just curious. Sometimes the girls yawn, so I thought it might be after a nap time. Is it the same time every day? They sure get exposed to a variety of foods. I did too but was picky. They are very open to all of it, good for them!

No reprimand for the accidental hit, because, as Alicia said, " She didn't mean to ". It is still worth encouraging a child to say sorry though, even if it wasn't done on purpose. ( That is not " Sorry for what I did ", but " Sorry if it hurt you ". Or for any damage accidentally caused, eg. to property ). I think mama & dad are already teaching this, as I have sometimes heard the twins say it in those circumstances. A & W do not correct every little thing, ( which would mean they were constantly nagging, and their children would just eventually end up ignoring them ), but they don't OVERLOOK everything either. My dad used to tie knots in the corners of a napkin or large clean handkerchief, and make a napkin hat on sunny days to stop his bald patch from getting burnt !
I fix my salmon with lemon, dill weed and butter. Delicious 😋

@@lizdahl847”bao” is Chinese word for bun. It can be sweetened with some sugar or honey in the flour or just plain with a little salt. Also any cooked meat or vegetables can be stuffed inside the bao and steamed till bao is softened. Can be eaten any time, like breakfast, lunch, snack time or even supper. Very common in many Asian countries especially China.

I am curious about the time of day these videos are made…just curious. Sometimes the girls yawn, so I thought it might be after a nap time. Is it the same time every day? I admire the way both parents handle and guide the girls, coming from an upbringing where I was forced to sit at the table for hours until my plate was clear.
Alicia, sometimes records several videos a day. No set time.I agree with you. They are amazing parents.😊
It depends on what meal we are eating. I video anything new so it could be breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snack😅♥️♥️
