@@GodsServant543 He had us in man defense the majority of every other game I think. Then here it is the playoffs and here we come out in this soft zone defense. I quit watching end of 3rd but I think I counted one punt. Piss poor job by the coaching staff especially DQ. He had zero answers, just like he has every other above average team we played this year but this was embarrassing.

Even though man defense is the worst staple in the league… Especially if you don’t have a front 7 that can stop the run without extra resources. Also, the zones weren’t even physical or “match” zone like the packers. The we’re grabbing and pulling all game, meanwhile; we were letting Receivers run free, and have one on ones without pressure. This defense is smaller, therefore; you need to be a pressure based defense. Dude was still running 2 high when we were down 20+🤦🏾♂️

Dann I feel you should coach from the sideline I feel our defense will play even better if you was on the sideline with them through out every snap. But also hats off to them and the offense down stretch keep it going. GO COWBOYS
Totally agree, if he could be right in the guys faces and tell them to keep your gap, don't stare into the backfield, get more physical at the line with receivers, don't just pressure the q.b. but get all the way home, stay on your spot with receivers, keep ripping at the ball...and lastly hit the officials during the play when you get the chance.😅😅

I feel the same way. I'd love for him to be on the sidelines with the players coaching them up and making adjustments
@@brockbaker9500He’s had one good defensive game plan all year. Otherwise, he calls cover 1 too much, not enough blitzes, he only tries to take away the teams best weapon if we’re getting killed early. Again, not enough blitzes lol. We’re not good enough in coverage without Diggs, to play that much cover 1. Also, the blitzing should be run blitzes.

Mostly worried about stopping Aaron Jones, hopefully the linebackers and defensive line is up to the challenge.
Aaron jones has been RED HOT AND RESTED since he missed half the season.
His last 3 games, 120+ yards EACH GAME.... Cowboys got their work cut out AND AARON JONES USUALLY DO VERY WELL IN DALLAS.

I still see guys hitting too high when tackling...basically just arm tackling instead of really going into the body. Still room for improvement...we miss Van der Esch...he was the best tackler...sad that he might be out forever due to his neck injury. I hope he will retire if it is life threatening or even if it is just too dangerous.

I worry about Gilmore. Wash ran at him, screen passes to his side (and obviously the pass plays he has to make since he is a cb) forced him to make a lot more tackles, which he did nicely, but the injury happened. If teams try to do this again, I wonder if DQ could sub in N. Wright a few times on running downs, maybe switch sides randomly with Bland, who is a great tackler, just to protect him a bit?

I meant overall, Gilly seemed to be having to make a lot more tackles himself than usual and now that he's been hurt, Green Bay may target him more, force him to make more tackles. That's actually a strategy sometimes in the NFL.

I don't. He had one good season in Atlanta, Mccarthy has had way more postseason success and Mccarthys offense and play calling is what made Dak what he has been this year. And if we don't make it will probably be because somebody comes in and runs the ball down our throats and keeps our offense on the sideline....
