This is why they keep trying to say we were 'indentured servants'. I never knew how bad slavery was until I got out of school and this new generation is going to grow up thinking slavery never existed at all.

Great lesson...! So thankful this lesson wasn't about our wayward Sister's! Why? Because our Sister's need help. I'm not saying to overlook the sins, and shortcoming's. The time has come for us to rewrite our own story. Let us start doing so by changing the narrative that we “could not read”. It sends a message that we were illiterate and without civilization not only to ourselves but to the world. Which is far from the truth. We were scholars and architects with our language and culture. We wrote the original biblical scrolls. Let us retell the story by saying that we were unable to understand or comprehend this new language ( a nation whose tongue thou shall not understand, Deuteronomy 28:49). This will change or remove the stigma that is associated with us as ”uneducated” and retell our story as it should be told.
