    Damn, no matter how hard the song is, it always looks super easy when you play it. How do you go about learning a new song? Do you have any tips?

    • @jahanghadami
      @jahanghadami  Před 2 lety +3

      So you can either learn a new song just by ear (what I do), or by reading a transcription of it. I break a song down into sections until I’m comfortable playing each bit, then practice the whole song until I can memorise it easily. You can also use an app to slow down the song to hear each drum hit more clearly

    hello! I've just started up a CZcams and did our (just me and some mates) first recording in the new studio.
    it was a drum cover we had less then 2 hours to record and so I chose experiment on me bc i knew could learn it pretty quick. so its not great but could you watch it and give me some feed back?
    i know the kick was way to loud and probably needs less attack.
    oh and could u share your EQ settings with us?
    thanks for reading and keep up the amazing content!!!

    How often do you replace your heads? I just noticed that they look brand new almost every cover, lol.

    • @jahanghadami
      @jahanghadami  Před 2 lety +2

      Haha nah it’s just the lighting that makes them look new. The tom heads last about a year and the kick head has lasted me a few years now. The snare head probably lasts half a year and just recently I got a new Matt Halpern signature snare which you see in this vid.
