Ric, thanks for participating in a great discussion. I hope you and they remaining members of TYA will release a special edition of A Space In Time this year including a proper surround sound release. Perhaps an expanded box edition..... All the best fora lifetime of incredible music.

Thanks for this. Ric is always an interesting listen. I read his book during the first lockdown and I can highly recommend it. It details the times and the dynamics within the band and has some very amusing stories, as well as all the information when the band was making their way to stardom. I hope Ric is able to write a follow up, documenting the bands rise after Woodstock.

Really interesting to hear Ric and Leo's recollections. They have lived and worked in legendary times.

well done. I understand the affinity for Space in Time, but personally I prefer the raw, thick distortion of the previous 4 albums. Space is done up very slick, with the strings which was almost too perfect for rock/blues/jazz purists for whom the small combo is sufficient. There were a lot of trippy moments on those Deram sides. Management wanted to turn it into a singles game, when the fan base was build around jams. Labels and management more or less screwed the pooch with a lot of bands in that time, trying to reshape them into a commercial success, as if they were little robots cranking out throw-out bearings and derailleur gears. I like to visit Space in Time, but I can't live there. I can live with Stonehenge, SSShhh..., Cricklewood, and Watt. It's like the comfortable old antique car you can roll around in, or the pristine restoration where you are paranoid of every speck of dust... and every buyer with insane money, one of which is likely going to take it off your hands. I had my mojo workin' till some pretty mama started break-in it down... but that's just a listener's perspective. I didn't have to go through the BS&T to live the life...

Just thinking……if the person of interest, interacted with comments……it might drum up a bit more interest on this broadcast. It is called the ‘Avalanche effect’…..it happens on the internet.🙄. Leo understands that.
