I service that radio towers generator behind there and I’ve been wondering since the lake is letting water out. I only fished there once in the summer with no luck before they did all them updates around there. I’m supposed to be there in a few weeks and I get the option to still drive up there. I will try it and let ya know how I do but I doubt it will still be flowing like that.

I've fished this place for years but haven't went back due to the no parking. I remember when they used to open the gate and let you park inside but again people used the lot as a dump site so the chained it up and closed it forever. Cant say I blame them for it That's what happens when people trash the place out Tons of crappies in there during winter just have to present the right colors and bump along the rocks on the bottom. Sandies not too good this time of the year.

I don’t know what people thinks when they leave garbage there crazy 😊 I fish in Georgia people do the same every time I go I take all the garbage I can 😢😢😢
I live in GP, that street name is Carrier Pkwy. During the spawn earlier this year that sign for getting towed was not there. And I would park a little down the street on the left side of the spillway gate. About 100ft to the left of the gate. After the nor parking signs. That what everyone did. But I haven’t been there since the spawn earlier this year.
Hey man I know exactly where this is I stay not to far from it, I didn’t think it was open tbh use to fish it years back. But have you fished the creek that’s 2 minutes down? SLAB CRAPPIE there! And where did you park?
First time I ever heard of that about rockfish in ky it always been stripers and the border of Tenn and Kentucky we got some big I mean big striper bass that’s what you’re talking about I know they took a a white bass and some other bass to make a striper

Always use double jig at any spillway or dam one day every fish l caught was on top jig

I fished the spillway at Lake Waco a few hours ago and smoked the crappie!

It sure does! I have not but can one day. Honestly my tackle is all over the place because I fish from the bank, boat and my kayak

Why do you call them Sandy and their white bass
It’s a nickname we give them in Texas. It’s because they spawn on sandbars in the creeks. We call them sandbass and “Sandy” for short
