Cozy Cole was a great drummer who paid his dues many times over and over he had a m😂ga hit with topsy part two circa 1959

Wow. I’m not sure how I came across this but thank you for posting. I’m trying to learn about jazz and classical music and finding different artists is always a great place to start. I also love cinema and was hoping if you know the films that these clips are from in the video? The visuals really went well with the music (and the music on its own is sensational).

Its cut together from scenes in the 1962 movie "Eva", also from a early 60's documentary about Beatniks, and from someone shooting stuff on a drive through Greenwich, CT during the same era. The first scene putting the record on is from a Sal Mineo movie called "Who killed Teddy Bear". Thanks for checking out a single one of my videos!
