AceBeam L19 V2 2200 Lumen Flashlight Field Test

- This is an extensive field test of the AceBeam L19 V2 Flashlight. This 2200 Lumen flashlight features a peak of nearly 300K candela, making it a very long-throw light that can compete with entry-level LEP Lights.
I was asked to review this light, however, I am very interested in the platform for a long-range loadout in wilderness Search and Rescue.
The product was reviewed on a hot, humid August night at Oak Point Nature Presserve in Plano, Texas, just after a thunderstorm blew through. All segments were filmed with an iPhone 12 Pro MAX.
A separate video (in the How To playlist) will cover grip, accessories, and how to operate the flashlight. A second video this winter will feature the L19 V2 in a wilderness Search and Rescue training exercise and fully test cold-weather endurance.
Thanks very much for your time and for watching the video.

Just found ur channel and you have got one of the best testing of flashlights. Real life field testing of these lights. Thank you
Thanks!! More reviews are coming, including the P17 Defender later this week :)
Nice test !
Thank you!
Nice quick review! I bought one ~month ago, right before you convinced me on a Fenix Tac light lol. Ended up with a PD36 so the reflector end fits in my pocket better than the TKs, but the TAC switch lockout is perfect for packing.
The L19 is my "truck light" to supplement the PD36 for farm and outdoor safety, similar to your intended use for a long distance loadout. I do a lot of hiking & mountain biking around sundown or later, so having this handy to throw in my bike/hike pack too seemed like a great idea. It's a fantastic light so far!
Next on my list is an L35 (hopefully a V2 soon). Hoping to replace both PD36 & L19 with the L35 to save me some weight on the bike and keep the other two in the truck. It would make a good backup bike/helmet light too.
Looking forward to the extended review!
Thanks. Truck light is a good use case. The L19 V2 is a bit unwieldy to carry and being front-heavy, I don't quite like the balance on my left shoulder-strap of the pack, but for what the light offers in those special cases, I can probably put up with it. Nothing makes it into the loadout until it survives a SAR training op (or two) at the LBJ Grasslands :). So, waiting for cold weather now ...
This L19 is indeed a very impressive flashlight.
There are now 2 versions of this L19 in white LED.
The L19-V1 has 1300 meters of beam distance with 1650 lumens and has the longest beam distance in white LED.
The L19-V2 has 1083 metres beam distance with 2200 lumens and has a wider beam profile and a lot brighter lumens in white LED.
The L19-V2 would probably be more useful in everyday usage due to wider beam coverage and very long distances and the power of brighter lumens at 2200.
Astonishing and quite amazing achievement from Acebeam. this flashlight is incredible.
Thank you, for your excellent review of the L19.
It's difficult to decide which L19 would be best for your needs probably this new L19-V2 due to wider beam coverage at distances offering the best of both (long-range) (wider beam) and (more lumen
You observations are right on. I'm looking at the L19 V2 as a very long-throw light for night SAR. More to come on that note as we head into colder weather. Thanks for your commentary.
Do y’all know any yellow throwers? Need yellow not white 😊
Great review the L19 would be more like the LEP however, I like the V2 better.
And, here we are nearly a year later and it's still my left-shoulder long-throw light. It's been exposed to temperature extremes and hours of rain and still working great. Thank you.
Hello sir, thanks for your reviews, have you tested this acebeam L19 with the nitecore MH40s? It looks really promising and would be nice to know your expert opinion
No, I have not. I'll put it on the 'to do' list :). Thanks!!
If you ever get a chance, you should compare the Acebeam K75 against the L19. At this point, dedicated search and rescue lights really need to be based on the Luminus SBT90.2 LED.
That's an interesting suggestion ... just need to get Acebeam to send me a K75 :). Thank you.
I didn't know Nicolas Cage did flashlight videos lol.
Yeah ... he has to fill in time in between movies :)
hahaha I knew the voice sounded familiar :)
@@coincrazy9338 Don't tell anyone - movie career is on the downside, so I'm relying on YT :)
@@L5-SAR LOL :) and jokes aside thanks for the vid, I'm curious to see this light up against the ProTac huntsman xlt in the same but higher price range, and alleged less lumens/range
@@coincrazy9338 I'm trying to get PowerTac to send me one. If memory serves, peak candela is lower than the L19 V2, so it probably won't throw as far and will likely have a narrower beam. If I can get my hands on it, I'll film a comparison. Thanks.
I just ordered the L19 but w the Osram PM1 and 1400 meter throw
Interesting. Keep us updated on how it performs. Since this was published, I've had the L19V2 out in weather extremes (21F and single-digit wind chill to 97F) and put it through 2 1/2 hours of constant rain exposure. I was filming a rain exposure test of another product, however, so I need to go back and film another L19V2 rain exposure test. Thank you.
can you do a video on the CONVOY L8 ? COMPARISONS?
I haven't contacted Convoy yet, so thanks for asking. I'll see what I can do :)
Try the acebeam T27 . You might not need a headlamp
They have a P17 Defender inbound for a review. I'll inquire about the T27. Thanks.
