- Hey! So I got a couple DM's on this hair on my instagram and I wanted to show you guys how I made it. I am soo in love with it becuase it literally looks just like my hair, I can just throw it on and go.
I used two packs of the hair which was $13.99 a pack, a crochet wig cap and I took an old comb off of another wig and sewed it on the front. If you have any comments, suggestions or questions just let me know down below.

You're a patient person to sit there for 4 hours to put together a wig. This is coming from a guy who started looking at hair-care tutorials and learning how to grow my hair with natural shampoos and conditioners. When it comes to women, you gotta do so much to maintain and keep your hair healthy. I never knew it took so much effort until I had to do it myself. You guys deserve more respect than you're given. lol

girl it’s absolutely beautiful, but were you able to manage all this hair by doing different hairstyles ?
Yes! If it gets nappy I use a steel comb to help get through it. I also cut the ends because it would get matted at the ends. It has lasted me a full year but I also don’t wear it that often.

Did you cut the band off and if not, did you use Bobby pins to secure it?
I didn't cut the band and you can use bobby pins or sew wig clips on it
Do you remember how long this wig lasted? And how did you maintain it? I'd love to try it, but I want to make sure it'll last me for a bit.
Wow that’s crazy that I just got this comment. I literally have been wearing this wig the last two days lol but I don’t wear it that often. I make sure to brush through it with a steel comb as well as running my blow dryer on medium heat through it a couple of times as well. 2 years later and it still looks great!
How exactly did you tame it down like in the thumbnail?
I just didn’t fluff it in the thumbnail. Trimmed the ends a little shorter as well. If you want it thinner just make bigger gaps between the hair when you are tying it to the cap!

I know you made it into a wig but based on your experience with this hair how long do you think it would last if it was crocheted directly into your hair? That's how I want to do mine but I want to make sure it would last atleast a month. Yours came out beautifully btw 🥰👍
Hi! I still have this hair and I still use it! I if it ends up getting hard to brush or detangle, I take a blow dryer to it, lightly to make it more manageable. Although when you use the blow dryer it’ll make the texture thinner.
If it was in my head I would say it would have lasted a month or two if you take the time to really take care of it!
