I love how their power is simply shown by the fact that they casually treat vibranium like a normal metal for creating normal stuff.

@@kwol1ty620 The Eternals are essentially cosmic angles, they have all sorts of insane powers and are incredibly technologically advanced, their ship alone is so advanced that it can literally fly a few meters from the sun without harming it any way.
i saw someone mention that “God doesn’t interfere unless demons are involved” and if the movie IS doing religious undertones, that would make so much sense as to what the eternals will be to the mcu moving forward
Honestly the eternals are basically inspired by alot of that. Celestial are God, eternals are angels and deviants are demons

This trailer was worth the wait, the effects look great and this movie doesn't feel like a Marvel movie which is what fascinated me about the marketing of this film. It feels different from the other movies and I love the tone it has.
absolutelty stunning visuals , but i think marvel is just ggonna set up eternals for even bigger threats , i mean they will justify their existence \and maybe set up them for even bigger cosmic threats
which I think is really fitting? This whole thing feels more ethereal(?), something that's "distant" from what we've all seen and are used to. So excited to see this soon!

I feel like that's something we might see in the movie. Some of the shots looked like they may have been watching over something happening, and one in particular looked like it could be when one of the atomic bombs were dropped in Japan in WWII.

Right after that, they look pretty sad, so I feel like that could be them watching or seeing historical events/wars, and it would make some sense to show them on Earth as time is passing at the start of the movie. I didn't actually catch it until I was watching this reaction, and when I saw it again, I realized what it looked like.
That would make sense because the girl who Angelina plays spoke as if she LOVED humanity and the world they live in

The Emergence is basically the awakening of a Celestial from a Celestial Egg/Embryo. The Earth holds an Egg that has been gestating for millions of years and the celestial inside the egg is called Tiamut the Communicator/The Dreaming Celestial. This movie is definitely more inline with the Eternals comic lore which I like.
Coy is such a fantastic guest on the channel. Bring him back for more :)
In the final scene when Ikarus asked Phastos if the table was vibranium, I instantly remembered Erik Voss's theory of Phastos teaching the Wakandans on how to use Vibranium (considering how Phastos is the Eternal's tech guy) and in the recent what if episode, we discover that Wakanda has space technology because their ships can travel in space so maybe the reason why they're so advanced is because Phastos taught them how to use it because if we think about it, how can primitive people instantly know how to create tech HUNDREDS OF YEARS AGO. Just a theory tho and I hope it's true bceause it seems like they're dropping hints of it.

@MrPancake and lastly in the last trailer, it was literally shown that the eternals even taught early humans how to farm and etc. w/o them, earth wouldn't have been civilized. Im not saying Phastos is going to create everything, just like in the previous trailer i think he'll just give them some small intel abt vibranium and he leaves them to learn it and utilize it as time goes by
@MrPancake they already had advanced skyscrapers during a time where humans still used swords and shield as weapons, they were already far more advanced even before africa was enslaved, and they started to hide during ww2 because it was the most chaotic war in history so they had to hide themselves hence why they cloaked wakanda with a force field barrier that creates an illusion that it'll look like a forest.. IN THE 1940s. They didn't develop naturally, they were always years ahead of other nations which is so questionable because why would they know what force fields, flying ships, etc are when there isnt even enough scientific explanation for things like that at the time hence why the theory abt Phastos sharing his knowledge to them thousands of years ago.

I particularly love the Celestial scene they show. The size of that thing, how terrifying that power level is. That's how you depict something like a Celestial in a live action MCU movie. You make them absolutely gargantuan and scary as hell.
Between the actual trailer and Coy’s amazing analysis of the trailer, I got chills. I wasn’t too excited to see the movie at first but now I can’t wait. The breakdown was awesome because I had no clue about anything. Excellent video guys!!

It’s weird because they had to avoid stuff with thanos and everything so it has kinda created a divide between the storylines but man, I feel like this is going to have to collide with the multiverse side at some point unless this or that ends fast because this seems HUGE.

The Celestials can activate the X-Gene at the end of the movie as a post credit scene to move to the next phase.

Honestly, i think the fact that they got actors of different race to play the eternals is genius. Well not because of the whole woke thing, but because it makes the characters much easier to differentiate and remember.
Man Coy went DEEP!! I love it! I am so happy Feige got a hold of Kit/John Snow instead of DC. Feige will use him well. I had never heard of the Eternals until this new Marvel phase so I can't wait to learn more.
When the trailer said “From Academy Award Winning Director Chloe Zhao,” I immediately knew this was the movie I was looking forward to most in Phase 4 of the MCU and looking forward to most this fall.
I love how you can't see Richard Madden's face in the last fight scene until the eye- beam iluminates the whole area revealing his face.
Props to Chloë for that. I hope this movie is good.
It seems like phase 4 will be reconstructing the backbone of all these things that are considered cruel such as the celestials being merciless and the TVA/kang. Fixing their worlds and taking matters into their own hands. Excited!

I love all of Coy's points except when he mentions that the Eternals would make Thanos look middling in comparison given the fact that Thanos is repeatedly mentioned to be the most powerful of the Deviants and Eternals. However, the Celestials are most definitely several tiers above anyone we have seen in the MCU except Alioth and Dormammu.
Overall, I absolutely loved the trailer and was much better than the first one. It brought the sense of fun and excitement that is usually expected from a Marvel movie and mixes it with the sense of practicality and lived-in sensibility that Zhao brings. Its grandeur and beautiful to look at as well.
I'd argue that infinity gauntlet Thanos is more powerful than most celestials and Dormammu, I say most because Scathan would kick his ass. Yeah it's a weapon but people use God king Doom and such for the same examples so I figured it's fair to say lol.
Pretty sure Alioth can destroy the multiverse infinite times over or something.
I can confirm that after watching this trailer a 100 times, when I went to go see Shang-Chi in theaters on release day that they played this trailer and the visuals look absolutely insane on the big screen. My prediction is that this will be one of the most, if not the best looking movies in the MCU, and definitely the most cinematic. Which who doesn't love a stellar visual movie.

I know celestial and Kang are different and big, marvel can make different sagas from them. But that is the beauty of marvel they will work all things in one franchise and in the end we will get big battle.

Out of all the marvel projects coming up this is the one that feels the most "eh I'll skip it and wait" which is weird because its supposed to be a major factor for the rest of the MCU.
My sentiments exactly, people are trying their best to hype it up, but it looks eh at best & I could care less about the religious undertones in the movie or the characters.
I watched this almost 8 hours ago for the first time I have watched it 7 times since then and slept 5 hours somewhere in between 😂

"God mode we're entering". Folks don't understand! Compared to what's coming, the 1st three phases were tame! There's such fantastical and god-like beings deep in Marvel's lore that will blow people's minds. Thanos isn't the big bad of Marvel!

Everyone gets hyped up when the red celestial is shown. But no one seems to notice, or mention, at 3:20 that is a celestial too, and it's creating either a planet or galaxy. Great way to show in perspective how masssic the celestials are
