He goes by Jer'zhan "Johnny" Newton to answer your question. I was yelling at the screen in the first two drafts to take Milton in the 6th round as a developmental QB. I did like your thought process on all 3, but I think the order I would put them in is 3rd, 1st, and then 2nd. The 3rd was the best because of Newton falling to the second round and you taking Milton.

What’s up Doug. Illinois alum and fan here. Pretty much since he got on campus, everyone has called him Johnny Newton. Kinda similar to how Chop Robinson isn’t known by his actual first name, someone just decided to pick something easier to say 😂 surprised more places haven’t started calling him Johnny yet lol
We'll see what Grier does on Draft Day, whether he Trades Up or Down, & who he Picks.
Good video, Doug. I ran one where that center, guard, and DT were all sitting there at 21 and the simulator said the Giants wanted to give me their whole remaining draft for that one pick. Would have been tough not to take that even though it would have meant another year of no first rounder.
With Barton/Mims/JPJ/Newton all on the board I trade back 4-5 spots and get as much as possible, then take whoever is there. Newton I've been seeing available in the 30s pretty frequently...it just seems like there isn't a heavy need for DT among the teams near the bottom of the 1st round.
Kiran Amegadjie is coming off of an injury. I think we would be lucky if Haynes is available at 55 since he is the top rated Guard by many(Barton being a T and JPJ being a C). Personally I would take Haynes to solidify the interior if we didn't get JPJ/Barton in the first round, but having a Tackle ready for when Armstead plays 2 games is also important.
Jaheim Bell at 158 is ok...he's more of a big body wide receiver than a TE from what I've seen, and what I saw doesn't really "wow", but at this point in the draft it's hard to find guys that "wow".
Grayson Murphy I haven't seen anything...have to go take a look. After a quick look at some highlights I would pick somebody else here...I'm high on Kimani Vidal one of the RB you passed on here(some places have him rated lower, but I would be ok with him here)
Isaac Guerendo a lot of people are high on. I really like Kimani Vidal, and I think that Tyrone Tracy Jr. seems like more of a fit for what this Dolphins regime would go for.
I don't know anything about Watson, but watched some quick highlights and I like him more than Grayson Murphy...so 60 picks later I would consider this a pretty good pick? I'm no expert, but at 241 it's not a big deal who we take as they are more than likely not going to work out, but I like the way Watson fights through blocks in the run game and seems consistent at finishing tackles...Murphy missed or didn't finish most of the tackles that were in his HIGHLIGHTS that I saw.
Overall this is pretty good draft...Murphy the only one that I just would not like as a pick.

Doug, on mock draft network there is a tab right above the list of draft able players that says “show drafted players” and it’s switched off, that’s why you can’t see who was taken before.
That doesn't show where they went bud. Like how pff I can scroll back and see what team drafted who.

I'm thinking that Grier is not going DT in the first round. Maybe he sees that the DTs are a little undersized? I think that's the reason he's signed so many in that position. I would go Barton in the first and a TE or WR in the second. Grier has shown his hand in signing all those players on the defensive side
