Subbed based on video title alone.
Thanks man! Great to have you onboard and thanks for the clip on inspiration 🙂
I assumed you had a huge audience simply based off the quality of the video and the ingenious crafting. This is an incredible amount of precise work. I hope you get the recognition you deserve!
Thank you so much for your kind words :)
......and subscribed!
@@jackdunne6152 same
Seconded. This was a great video. I also subscribed and am looking forward to your next project!
I felt exactly the same
I never would have guessed that the magnets would still work through the layers of cork bricks and paint. Really cool!
Little neodymium magnets can be surprisingly potent.
This was wonderful. A modular diablo-style dungeon fits like a glove with the procedural dungeon generation in the games, and as someone whose knowledge of DM'ing and dungeon crafting for D&D is very superficial, I really appreciate all of the small crafting hints and details you put on display here. It really gave me a new level of appreciation for this stuff!
And as others have pointed out, the quality of the visuals, editing and framing of the video is something I'd expect from a channel with 100x the subscriber numbers. I hope this gets seen by many more, because it really deserves to.
My thought exactly: the procedural generation in Diablo is pretty similar to that what I do when I design a dungeon. Only that I use dice and of course my brain 😄
Thank you for watching!
I used a reddish-purple color for my floors, also inspired by The red bricks of Diablo 1. I'm so happy to see others with the same love for that atmosphere and even more so to see you providing this tutorial to give it a shot as well!
This sounds great! Reddish purple is probably even more true to the original but I wanted to have the clear distinction between wall and floor color. Thanks for watching!
I really have been enjoying the newer build I have seen like this one that have been using different color schemes! It's always interesting to go back to those older video games and realize that the pallet they used was much more varied. I wasn't paying enough attention back then. Great video!
Just discovering this channel after being a DM crafter for a few years. Fantastic video production, simple instructions that dont require expensive tools, and new techniques I hadnt seen before. 10/10 would recommend.
Thank you so much 😊
I love that you are embracing the colors and demonstrating how to do it without looking garish. There's definitely far too much grey, black, and brown in medieval fantasy the way it is without DMs adding to that.
Especially as the Middle Ages where sometimes crazy colourful. Thank you for watching :)
Yeah, which is mostly a modern concept, as people at the time loved colors, very bright and garish. Basically only England was dirty, brown, and had no one washing themselves. Much like it is today.
Love it! For me Diablo 1 is my favourite of the series, such an eerie atmosphere. Looking forward to see you expanding on this!
Pretty unique build. I've watched a lot of these kinds of vids over the years and can say this is the only time I've seen a build like this. Turned out very nicely. Well done
Thank you very much!
This is a fantastic video, and props for pulling inspiration from a great game! I like how you went through the process one step at a time, but didn't linger too long on any one. The extra editing was also noticed. This is some serious quality!
I know it's topical thanks to the beta, but it still makes me smile seeing all the love D1 has been getting lately.
Really cool stuff, subbed!
Beautiful work! I like the planning you put in this. It really paid off in the finished piece.
That slipover door trick is perfection.
Dude! WOW! Amazing detail. These look fantastic!
You make this look so easy! Great video. I love how you say things like "be careful with this step" and there you are like a pro going so fast.
Love the versatility of the walls and how you can easily make any shaped room! I have to rethink using a large base like this instead of smaller tile blocks now. Can't wait to see your subscriber base grow to match the level of video you are producing. Great job and very engaging.

Thank you for your kind words! I’m so happy for all the positive feedback this video received!
Foam dart pillars is genius, I'm sooooo glad I saw this vid. I've been trying to think of what to use to make pillars for ages and I have a ton of nerf darts
Love the color choices. Really adds life to the dungeon.
I love your take on the modular style. Wyloch is a great inspiration and I'm glad to see you taking a page from his book while bringing your own ideas to the table.
I was also struck by your comment: "Although I don't use a traditional grid... I still have a hint of a grid." That's so clever! You clearly put a lot of thought into your builds and it's helped me learn something today. Thank you!
Thank you for your kind words! And for watching of course!
Yeah as I said in the video, I try to avoid it as my players don’t really use it (we tried and they asked me anyway about distances) and I find it very gamey. So I think this fits neatly in our style of game.
What a lovely set! I look forward to watching the rest of your work!
I stayed a while and listened. Great idea btw! :-)
Thank you very much!
This channel is my find of the year! Such good videos, and content. I'm an instant follower! Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
Thank you so much for your kind words! It means a lot to me.
Super! Ganz toll! That dungeon set came out amazing. The way you put together your video made it entertaining to watch an easy to follow. Thank you!
Vielen lieben Dank! Great you like it! Thanks for watching :)
Some of the most high quality content and craftsmanship I've seen in a long time.
Very nice work - I really appreciate the departure from a neutral, monotone grey! It really worked well in Diablo while still coming off as creepy enough for the game, and this is a great tribute to that. I can't help thinking that, for those who work in a more modular pre-built tile system, that this will work great when combined with the HeroQuest board game for some inspiration for themed areas like a torture chamber, temple, summoning circle, and so on: the HeroQuest board game - the great-grand-daddy of all tabletop dungeon terrain sets - worked on a similar premise, but switched up the floor tiles in muted colours and brick/tile styles, so you had some nice greens, blues, yellows, and so on as well, on marbled, flagstone, wood plank, and other textures - the game board kept the colours muted and subtle, and it was a nice effect. Now that I'm thinking of it, Diablo might have even done something similar for its pre-generated areas (I remember the Butcher's chamber standing out as a little different, for example!)
Yeah the Heroquest board is another perfect example why you don’t need to have grey dungeons. Thanks for pointing this out!
I LOVE how you made the modular doors for this!
This is so good! The Diablo cathedral theme is a fantasic idea, great work!
Wow! LOVE the aesthetic of this! Using cork for the brick is an excellent idea. Great video!
"Ahhh... Fresh meat!"
I just saw this in my recommendations, and now I'm a subscriber. I was already following Wyloch (and many other crafters), but your approach is refreshing and creative. =^[.]^=
Thanks so much! I really try to do things with an alternative twist to keep the videos fresh and interesting. I’m super happy this is recognised!
Wow, this is very-very pleasing to the eye! Looks very good, you can clearly see where the walls are and where the floor is, but they still harmonize with each other.
Great job!
I‘m super happy about the look as well! Thank you for your kind words!
Legitimately ended up watching this twice, was just skimming trough it at first because it caught my eye but it turned out to be REALLY good, fantastic work man! hope to see the channel grow!
Awesome! Thank you very much!
What a great use of materials and ideas for a unique look. Thank you for making this
Thank YOU for watching 🙂
The amount of work in this is incredible!
Such good work and attention to detail, it looks really good!
Thank you soo much :)

I love the use of color. Great idea, very versatile design. Can't wait to see what's next
Very detailed and well done. I enjoyed the video.
Spectacular work!
I just found your channel. Absolutely wonderful! I look forward to watching more.
Just wow! I can't imagine the patience you must habe to go through with such a project
Wow this is a love for the craft on display here. Nice work man!
Thank you! :)
That looks like pure magic making for me.
Thank you for your kind words :)
Fantastic work! Really enjoyed how well you explained it all, and it came out beautiful.
Thanks! :)
Wow! I work in construction and I have all of these materials around the house. I never thought about using them in this way!
This is AWESOME! congratulations on the amazing work!
Thank you very much!
Phenomenal work, the editing and video quality alone makes this video an instant success!
Thank you very much!
Thank you, my friend. That was delightful.
I will be using this technique for when I DM a campaign of Steinrich's Guide to the Eldritch Hunt.
I really like what you did with the door - ingenious!
Well to be fair got the idea from wylochs armory. Just tried to add my own spin on it. Thanks for watching 🙂
Looks super! Keep up the great work!
Wonderful build!
Incredible work.
very practical and awesome!
such an excellent idea, and great execution
Came over based on a comment made on Wyloch's Armory and was totally hooked by the Diablo theme. I love that game so much! Subscribed!
Awesome! Welcome to my little channel. Hopefully you enjoy my other stuff as well :)
Great work!!
Big fan of the old game and now big fan of your channel. Outstanding work. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for watching. I’m happy you like it!
inspiring, bro :) I really appreciate the re-usability/ re-constructability.
Nice build. Good quality video editing
Great work! 🔥
Loved it, I've been playing DnD since the 80's and still do all my terrain as DIY with cardboard and random things I find. I love seeing how people create new and improved things.
Watching this made me dig out my old Diablo DnD book.
Very nicely done.
Wow, very nice. Lots of great ideas here.
I must admit this video was really inspiring. Thanks for that. Subscribed :)
I enjoyed your video a lot. Well structured, good explanation, well filmed and cut. I hope you get the attention and subs you dserve. I am very much looking forward to your next crafting projects! Dungeon terrain would be great to see
Thank you! I'm already planning on expanding on this set!
Subbed. Instantly, the moment the video was over.
This is incredible, it looks so good! I love it
Thank you so much :)
Wow!! This is a great DIY modular set, I will definitely use this as inspiration for my own
Awesome! Tag me on Insta or Facebook if you're going to share pictures of it :)
Awesome build. I'm definitely subscribed now!
Amazing and simple to make.
Amazing tutorial, thanks man
Looks great!
This is AMAZING! Love Diablo 1 and you've captured that essence here!
Thank you! :)
Love Diablo, real cool way to do a tile set, looked amazing
I designed my tiles based around early 90's PC dungeon crawlers like Dungeon Hack!, Wizardry, Breath of Fire 2, and Phantasy Star. Never was a fan of the all-gray look and instead went with a "pixelated" Saturday morning cartoon design. I utilized a 2x2 repeatable pattern for a consistent look. I then paint with only a handful of colors. This idea started when I was only using highlighters to color my designs and loved how characters stand out easier on the table. Simple monsters were usually a couple of colors and the more difficult were all gold.
Not only does it give a certain charm, but it also makes it my very own and easy to replicate.
Loved this one! Keep up the killer work :)
Thank you so much for your awesome feedback!
love the cork tile, very cool
These look brilliant. I can't imagine how many cork bricks you must have made for this! Great work!
Not so much as you would think I guess. I think I used about three A4 sheets of cork.
Love it, love your style, I liked and subbed. ❤
Great work there !
Beautiful tiles here. subscribed for sure!
i was thinking about this the other day, glad to se it done
Thanks for the inspiration!
I love the tile pattern. I will definitely use it in the future.
Nice. Great content, keep up the good work and thanks for sharing.
Fantastic stuff!!
This makes me want to create a dungeon set of my own! Really cool!
That's really cool! Once you get more wall or specialized pieces built the possibilities will be endless. I do hope you do make all sorts of small, specialized pieces of terrain with magnets that you can put in the middle of your dungeon, like say: campfires, barrels, crates, coffins, altars, fountains, prison shackle walls, broken gravestones, chains, but i was really thinking a sewer drain, or a closed well would fit so much without taking space, like round and small maybe could hint to a passage below. Man if you add magnets to it and give it a similar paint job you can fit anything into it! So amazing using metal as a base for magnetized terrain!!! ❤😊
Got yourself a follow man
Ouhh you're giving me some great ideas with those suggestions! Thanks for subbing and watching! :)
Wirklich toll gemacht. Finde das Modulare Konzept genial.
This was an absolute treat, thank you sir!
Thank YOU for watching :)
Neither am I a DM nor am I planning to build a dungeon like this but this video was very enjoyable and interesting to watch! Great craftsmanship!
I can only recommend it! Thank you for watching :)
Nice work!!
My man, came across by accident but I couldn't stop watching, this is amazing. You are very talented.
What a happy accident! Thank you very much :)
Subscribed. This is a quality piece. Good luck with your channel.
