In this video, my friends @Baablu and @Fantst try to hunt me down before I can speedrun Minecraft and beat the Ender Dragon. However, I had a dog, and if they killed the dog, I lose the game! I could also upgrade the dog to make it more OP!

I think the dog should've gotten more than just HP and damage, because it felt like a liability at the end.
Maybe have it heal when it deals damage or have fire resistance? Idk.
dont worry, a rematch will happen and he will be much much stronger >:D
Some good things that could be added to the dog would be that at certain levels it would gain fire resistance, speed and even regeneration.

I think extra 5% speed per upgrade and some kind of way to make him acquire fire resistance would be good.He also should be able to heal himself in someway,lifesteal is a good idea for that.

they area balanced by the lack of skill and ability to use them properly

I have a suggestion maybe have the dog get skills like mcmmo taming skill where the dog gets environmentally aware so it avoids cactus and lava and can heal when it fights. Have it increase after like x amount of bones keep the health and damage but have it also have skills

I always like your twists. If you do a rematch for this one, I suggest having the dog’s speed increase slightly every 10 levels or so, maybe a “come here” feature so it will immediately teleport to you

These manhunts are getting more unique and entertaining. Would it have been possible that there would be another perk where the wolf would also give you random buffs once in a while or give the hunters random debuffs? Ey, great vid overall.
During the rematch you could give him custom powers. Like feeding him a fire charge will give him fire aspect, blaze powder gives him strength, magma cream gives him fire resistance, golden apple gives regen etc

For the rematch, you should tame a bunch of regular wolves to confuse them.
Though either the name tag above it would have to be removed or all the dogs would get it.

Oh and btw Bubbo, ik you aint gotta do shit I ask but i thought a good manhunt idea would be that the hunters have 40 hearts but if they both die you loose but if YOU die they loose, kind of like a reverse manhunt but not, idk how to explain it any better

You should do a manhunt, but every once in a while you can make the compass point to a player, a entity, or a coordinate for a while.
Edit: I also think it would be funny if each hunters compass can be changed to a different spot. They would probably get mad at each other for lying about the location.
In the future, on top of HP and damage, my suggestion would probably be giving it special abilities. Possibly by collecting the heads of various mobs and feeding them to him to level up these traits. Stuff like a howl summons dogs with half of its maximum health but normal damage. One dog for each level of trait. I can see it being quite interesting and sort of solves the problem you ran into here where you were lacking food the entire run and had to run over to heal it. Since I imagine for the Cow it'd gain the ability to clear any negative potion effects on itself and give regeneration every x number of seconds. After enough cows it just starts doing it every 5 seconds or so making it impossible to use potions on it anymore.

You could also make it so every mob in the game drops unique bones and when you feed them to your dog he gets special

If you do a rematch of this you should probably also increase the dogs reach so they couldn't, hit it from out of his range
Maybe having some kind of whistle to call the dog when he gets to far away could had help a little
next time you should give the dog some other buffs like speed regen and immune to fire when it hits certain levels
You can actually give your dog rotten flesh to heal it and it wont even get hunger. 3:05
recommendation: something like a dog whistle that will instantly teleport your dog to you on a cooldown
or make healing work where itll heal around 25% of its health per food item
Maybe give the dog regeneration and also let it have armor slots because the biggest disadvantage is the defence of the dog not changing

Something you can do for the rematch should be that wither skeleton drop withered bones which gives it special abilities like reach speed strength and regeneration.
Lacks some speeds and attack speed. Maybe lower the damage but increase the attacks speed so that even when they shield it can retaliate. and probably give it more knockback as well. Plus it consumed most of your food.
kinda surprised he didn't just start mining all those bone blocks in the nether, every 1 is a guaranteed level, and 5 is 9 (assuming that the 1/5 bones till next level thing applied to all levels)
The rematch should be the same except bubbo is invincible, or maybe rename the dog to cerberus and give it fire protection

Suggestion it would be very interesting if you could have it so the compass isn't required to track the runner but the hunters have wolves that track the runner
Maaan, now imagine the rematch of the twist, but next time, the dog's AI is improved and then it gets regen or the ability to eat on it's own. Definitely would last longer, I bet.
would have been cool if feeding the dog golden apples in teh end made it dragon sized.

Next time, the dog reaches 50 health it multiples by 2, each has their own health bar, but you only need to feed 1 to replenish all health

Bubbo, what about a reverse manhunt and I don't just mean you hunting your hunters. You are capable of teleporting in and out of the end. You spawn in a different place than the hunters and you have to gear up and set up traps to protect the dragon while your hunters have a limited amount of lives they can use to stop you.
