- Digital Editor, Dale Evans is down in Texas at the Cibolo Creek Ranch chasing aoudad and testing Hornady's latest round, the new 7mm PRC. Shooting the AllTerra Arms Mountains Shadow Carbon, Dale is able to work on long range shooting out to a thousand yards before heading out after Barbary sheep. Joined by Miles Neville from Hornady, they go out in search of aoudad with both taking great rams. Finally the group works on different shooting positions and finally take shots at a mile.

Good to see what Mr. Dale Evans has been up to in his new job.
Congratulations to him and Trent on two great Aoudad rams. The middle class desert bighorn Ram hunt. Definitely something that I would like to do someday.
Would be cool to test out new gear, cartridges, etc and make videos and write articles about it. 😎🇺🇸
Good place Nice place the Mountain and good hunting..... 👍👍👍
Stalking to within 400 yards is the real game. It’s called hunting !! In sixty years, I have never shot anything over three hundred yards.
??😮
Impossible terrain pretty average shooting distance 300-400
I'm thinking a audad hunt is gonna be nice in the near future prob gonna go with my 300 prc with 230 otms
Never heard anyone said aoudad before, I’ve only ever known them as Barbary sheep lol
How longs the barrel on that rifle?
Nice
how did you guys find the recoil to be on these rifles? visually, it looks like more compared to some other 7mm PRC videos... somehow...
lighter gun
7PRC is basically a super 280Rem but not quite a 7mm Rem Mag
man 7mm prc , i watched keith hall shoot a ram there at 900+ with a 6.5 creedmoor
What kind of velocity and energy was that packing at 900+? Must've been one good bullet
Congrats. But we are here not to see your trophy. We are here to see what happened to the bullet. How it performed?
What kind of suppressor are you running on it?
OSS
How much does this rifle weigh?
We have some Huge Aoudads on our place. They make Good Sausage
?
All I did during Covid was shoot!
Is this high fence?
free-range
Kind of a cool video ... except for the obnoxious music overlay. Out in the wilderness, quiet, peaceful ... ruined!
Your so surprised about all the animals on a game farm
People don't realize some of these ranches are the size of entire counties in some states. It's still definitely fair chase.
38,000 acres free range
Yup, it's "cool" to watch 'em for 10 minutes.
even cooler when you get to kill one of 'em.
Fast?I shoot 3250fps with my 28 all day.Shoot 1000 yards all day .
With a smaller, lighter bullet I'm sure. A 175 grain bullet traveling at 3k fps is fast.
@@dennyking2741 how bout a 195 at 3200 fps, that’s what my friend gets out of his 28 nosler
@@Liamisdead99, with way more powder, way more recoil, and way shorter barrel life
@@bryanmartinez5152 with way better trajectory with the long heavy bullets going really fast, it’s worth it lol
@Joe Mama , just to be clear you are talking about a rifle you dont even own right? Thats cool if your buddy found something that he likes. Im not a fan of wasting powder in ridiculously over bored cartridges
