Yeah i was on the same boat for a month or 2 until I got annoyed from tears and black wings cuz they keep activating their effects with synchros or fusions and I’m rereading the effect multiple times until I watch videos of it. This one guy explained it under a minute and it went something like this
In order for the opponent to activate their monsters effect: they need to have one of the card type (fusion, synchro etc.) on their field. If they have one of those only one of their monster can activate their effect and if they have 2 of the extra deck monsters they can activate 2 effects. If they summoned a xyz pendulum monster or something mix with pendulum extra deck monster that counts as 2 effects.

Stun go brr. Not a skillful deck tho. Not an achievement getting to platinum+ but oh it’s so fun to watch meta slaves struggle to out inspected boarder. Another fun addition is runick on top of the stun.

Everyone complaining I guarantee has never played a deck outside the current meta of any format/state of the game.
Okay, yugioh is complicated, we all know that, but the solution is not just playing stun and ignoring gameplay mechanics rather than learning how to utilize and play with them. This is possibly the worst idea for a first deck you could give someone. Also you can easily afford a better deck than this out the gate, just know that you want to do some research first. This is a 20+ year old game without set rotation, it's going to require some legwork to get into these days because you have a LOT to learn.
The solution is absolutely playing stun foh. "Learn how to utilize and play with them" like bro do you even HEAR yourself? The objective of today's meta game is to omni negate everything your opponent tries to do and ensure they never even get to play a single card. These days if you're not playing kashtira or bystial, you auto lose, you cannot play any other rogue deck or strategy because you'll just get run over. If this is what it takes to stop those decks from taking the top spot or at least make it severely difficult I'm all for it.

He baited us. I made this deck getting tired of going against tear with my tear genuinely only works going first and is a complete brick board 😢💀💀. So unfun, no I gotta grind gems again so I can get Labrinth and they are literally the only consistent floodgate deck.

All of yugioh is the whole point is to prevent your opponent from playing the when you pop their monster when you negate an effect with an omni negate don't judge if you're not smart enough to get around it that you're not smart enough to play the game
