I'm close to pulling the trigger on my first laser level. I work alone and this would help immensely with a million one-handed level and fasten in place tasks. This sucker seems to really stand alone in the field for value per dollar. Not the best build quality as the US and German brands, but as far as features and price...you can always buy another and still be ahead of the game. By then, the next generation will arrive.

I came across this brand a couple years ago and have been using it with no problems. I do still have a Bocsh. I have the B03CG pro model and was considering getting this model you just reviewed which thank you for doing it btw. A little disappointing about the moisture getting in the laser. However I will say I have dropped mine a couple of times and it still works great. I did have to re-calibrate it at one point which It’s very easy and done by removing the towers which expose a brass Allen bolt and dialing it in. Good to see one of the better channels do a review on it and please let me know what Huepar said about the IP54 rating. It’s only $250 in the states so I think I’ll pull the trigger on it thanks again!

Hey Steffen. Good to hear yours is going great. Can’t go past the Bosch lasers either.
I’ll have to give the calibration a look. Good to know we can do it ourselves.
For that price, it’s really hard to go past it. A few guys at work have now used this and will probably get one as well.
What sort of work are you doing with the laser?

@@AddictedtoTools What don’t I use it for 😂. I first started using them for control lines to lay out Interior Spaces/interior build out wood and metal stud. It can obviously be used for laying out your track or plate for walls But I find it great for squaring up rooms to snap control lines to pull my lay out numbers off(Wall placement). I.e. to square up a room we would snap two intersecting control lines and then pull a 3-4-5 or 6-8-10 To square them up and then pull all of our numbers off of those control lines. The laser does the same thing by shooting a perfect right 90 angle for you eliminating the need for the3-4-5 method or Pythagoras formula. I use it for setting cabinets, setting doors, or trim work like chair rail etc.. i’m constantly finding new uses for it. There is a Russian guy on CZcams that actually shows you how to calibrate Huepar lasers by removing the towers it’s a huge benefit to these lasers and extremely easy. FYI I have a Huepar rangefinder as well that is extremely accurate and intuitive has more features then the Bosch blaze with a camera for targeting at far distances for under $200 it’s worth taking a look at. Thanks again I really enjoy your videos let us know if Huepar gets back to you.

And I’m comparing that to my Bosch and my B03CG pro I don’t plan on taking a hose to it though. The remote that comes with it can be little finicky but works well and I like that it also recharges with the type C USB the app for my iPhone works flawlessly great feature. I found that the microadjustment stand works a lot better when you use it with the magnetic mounting plate instead of the tripod. Looking forward to your next laser review and throwing the Huepar in.

I bought this laser and immediately found out the valuable reason for the second (lower) horizontal laser: its close proximity to the bottom of the device allows shooting a line very close to the floor or to whatever horizontal surface the device is sitting on. In my case, I was able to shoot a low baseboard and cabinet kick platform in directly, rather than by offsetting from a benchmark.

    Hello,
Huepar S04CG has an IP54 protection level, the following is the explanation of the protection level,
IP is the international code used to identify the protection level. The IP level is composed of two numbers. The first number means dustproof; the second number means waterproof. The larger the number, the better the protection level.
    Dust class:
5 Dust protection It is impossible to completely prevent the intrusion of dust, but the amount of intrusion dust will not affect the normal operation of the product.
    waterproof level:
4 Prevent the intrusion of splashing water and prevent the intrusion of splashing water from all directions. (It's perfectly fine to use on rainy days)
The water spraying with the hose in your test video belongs to waterproof level 6, which is beyond the IP54 range. Thank you very much for testing this, we will keep improving our products according to this problem until it becomes better.

Don't lie that wasn't a direct strong jet which is what IP 6 is. IP 5 is a weak jet. Also not what was shown in the video. He had the hose on low power mist or shower and was angling up mimicking rain.
I was thinking of buying this laser but this reply by your company has changed my mind. Looks better to own up rather than make excuses.
Maybe you are doing your IP testing incorrectly because you don't seem to have a clear understanding of it.

@@Geo-vw9oz IP 6 is an intense direct jet of water from all directions. No where close to what was done in the video. Lookup videos of actual IP water testing. A real IP 4 test is more intense than he did in this video. If that wasn't just a faulty laser then their products are really IP 3

I bought Huepar S04CG and just today tried to use it for the first time on a job. Using brand new Duracell AA batteries, the unit shut down after less than 30 minutes run time. (It dhad done the same when I first tried it with the OEM supplied off-brand AA's, which is why I went to the Duracells.) Do these symptoms sound familiar, and do you have any idea why this would happen? I am currently charging the provided Li-ion battery, giving it the initial 24 hour charging the manual recommends. Hopefully, it will run much longer. But if it will not run as long as promised on AA's, this will be an ongoing problem when I might need to count on AA's to get through the work day. Thanks.
