Good news for United, young centerbacks are sprouting around European Leagues. United can also consider Inacio, Antonio Silva, Tapsoba, Todibo, Diomande are some of the currently prospective centerbacks.
Why to complicate it? Todibo is and should be our top transfer target. A man who has stopped Mbappe on some occasions is obviously skilled and able, no doubt about that. We just need a strong, tall and ground eater (as you say) CB as Licha is elite on the ball. Branthwaite might be of that mould but apart from some PL experience and fulfilling the home grown quota, he doesn't have more positives than Todibo. We all know the English tax and it would be very surprising if he goes under 60-70M. Get Todibo, a solid box to box midfielder and resolve the RW issue. This itself makes us strong enough to finish top 5.
Diomande, Inacio, Geertruida, Yoro, Hato, Antonio Silva, Tapsoba, Simakan, Scalvini all should be higher the list and will also be cheaper!!! (except A Silva & Scalvini maybe)
Why are you guys attacking unnecessarily???? We need more than one defender. Todibo would replace Varane. And if he can use two foot then that gives him the option to be back up to both cbs.
@@user-dp7iw5fn7g I am not attacking. Even I agree that we need more than 2 CBs but my motive only was we shouldn't overcomplicate things by adding every possible name. Even you will agree that he would cost north of 60M which is alot unless he isn't a guaranteed starter for us. Also, before Todibo, we should focus on outgoings. If we sell Maguire (English player) and get 25-30M, then and only then this signing makes sense.
Todibo is better, this guy is not that confortable on the ball we don't want to get back to building from the back problem
Todibo and Branithwaite would be the move to make could form a long term partnership
@@user-ig1ps2mr2r Todibo isn't really good in the air. Together with Martinez i think its a bit too weak.
I will try to watch more of Everton games to have a closer look at him.
Very good player and I want to see how he steps up
Checking out his time from PSV where his team was more possession based, his passing numbers were actually good.
We can get as good for a lot cheaper, Everton will want 60M minimum for a position where we already have Martinez. The right footed CB needs to be the priority, after that we need to look in the market for a young left footed for around 30-40M like Spurs did with Van de Ven.
Give Kambwala the hype. He's actually solid and big too
Todibo for Varane
Branthwaite for Maguire
Kambwala for Lindelof
Evans extended
Sorted.
That’s actually a solid take , unfortunately I don’t think Manu will sign 2 expensive defenders as we’re signing Olise, a new CDM, and possibly a striker.
Let Evans retire
08:12 reminds me of Evans vs Spurs.
Can you do roony from Copenhagen pls bro❤
As a LCB we need a similar profile to Lisandro Martinez, ball playing/dictating possession from the back. Branthwaite isn’t the right fit. Ignacio fits this profile
Ineos has other plans wht recruiting players and we cn only really y tell when ther structure in going forward kicks in including wht big changes on top!
Can you pls compare him with inacio ?
I think facundo medina from lens could be good backup for martinez. He is good on the ball and good at build up. He is also a front foot defender using left foot
Todibo better, this guy is not that confortable on the ball and we don't want to get back to building from back problem
Why can't I see any link below
Consider If the price is right.
Multi positional players are needed.
Licha can also play as a “5”/“6” hope to see him in that position his IQ is a beauty to watch.
Aerial awareness and balance is what’s needed. Many options to choose. We shall see.
Great video!
Branthwaite has also played left back which is a position united struggle with at times
@@johnhennessy9658 can he make over lapping runs and cross the ball in to the box to our attackers.
@@tactical_statician Not every player needs to be strong offensively.
@@lexxihd5843 Got battered today by Chelsea 6-0.
Very good option. burly English lad, will definitely start off as cover for Licha without it being a big issue and he could improve his skillset on the ball while he's growing. Personally prefer Ignacio and Schlotterbeck but I would not be mad at this as a signing if the fee is reasonable.
Why can't they play together? Branthwaite LCB Licha CCB and you play with an extremely overlapping rb or inverting rb to compensate ( either frimpong or timber types).
English players are the most expensive. The price of this guy is worth 2 Martinez
Yh would defo prefer Inacio and we’ve got a good relation with Sporting to get a fair price rather than play English tax.
I agree that United need new players, but mostly United need to sell almost all old players and keep only the best young and talented players.
The proper rebuild is harsh. 😕
For the price Everton would want he’s not worth it. We need comfortable players on the ball all around the park to even compete at the top level. That’s the standard now. Inacio would be my preferred choice. Along with Todibo.
I think Ineos are having an obsession with english players
What’s with the soft music in the background ?
Tell me the difference between this guy and Harry Maguire?
Better on the ball, has defensive awareness , faster/pace and doesn’t have the turning circle of an ocean liner
INEOS sign him PLS
We all know eth won’t start him ahead of Martinez even if needed. Except it’s the only option.
Hope he isnt another Maguire. Dont think my heart can take it
Is he similar to Harry?
Aerially yes very similar but , Branthwaite is better on the ball , ground duals , and has alot better defensive awareness . Maguire has zero concentration.
real madrid bound now use will be fuckin lucky to get him
Braithwaite? Isn't he the Barcelona legend? Thought he was a forward not a centre back. I guess legends can play any position.
Martin Branthwaite 😏
Martinez or brantwaite choose one
Both can play together
Murrilo from NF much better all round CB plus oves a physical battle
Sorry but if he doesn't complete progressive passes and isn't confident when carrying the ball forward, what's the point? At this point, United can't afford to take chances with our signings and bet on "potential". We need to sign players who have already proven themselves and have the stats to back them up. From what I've seen of JB, he's just a quicker version of Maguire and I don't think that's the type of CB we need.
💯 to even think about competing we need every player comfortable on the ball otherwise. I’m tired of seeing us get dominated of the likes of Fulham.
new phil jones
Could sign him for cheap because evertons ffp
Why is your name fishfinger 💀
@@ManchesterUnitedFan135lol. What does that have to do with anything 😅
i heard that he will cost us 70-80 million, so forget about him 😂
Why the fvck you have Varane there when Martinez is back.?
Maguire and Varane are almost certain to leave this summer. While the futures of both Lindelof and Evans are not certain, while neither are a long term option.
That leaves Martinez and Kambwala as the only CB's who'll still be at the club in 2 years time.
100% I'd sign Branthwaite AND a right sided CB this summer. Then keep Lindelof and Evans for one more season and loan out Kambwala so he gets game time to develop.
No, he's not (TOP CB Target). Not better than Martinez and his possession game leaves a lot to be desired.
I would sign him to be back up but his price tag is too hefty meaning we will probs be pressured to play him even if Licha is available. Scalvini is cheaper and better in possession.
Ur kidding.he,s so much better than martinez.martinez is such an average player.he,s not good aerially, not physically imposing, not fast, too agressive, misses tackles, gets turned alot and is a terrible long passer of the ball and l don't know why that isnt talked about enough.he,s missed every over the top ball l,ve seen him try since preseason and statistically he,s in the bottom 10 in the prem for long pass accuracy and u add to his injury record and the fact he can't play against teams like city as we saw last season with him being benched in the 2nd leg vs city due to haaland,he,s a player you should get over, overated player who you,re never achieving anything with as ur starter.there,s a reason he doesn't start for argentina
Gay@@ShawnGitahi
Has Braithwaite ever been in the champions league semi finals?@@ShawnGitahi
At least he’s fit. Unlike Martinez who’s almost never available 🤣
branthwaite , todibo and a right back who can play centre back like simakan or Odilon KOSSOUNOU
so when where in attack the back three base would be
branthwaite , todibo , Odilon KOSSOUNOU or Mohamed SIMAKAN
then sign an attacking left back like Miguel GUTIÉRREZ shaw too injury prone
then be brave with signing players like Óscar ZAMBRANO , Lucas BERGVALL, Joao Neves
Mukiele - Right back who can play CB, comfortable on the ball, strong, quick, good in the air, solid defensively, AWB esk tackling but an upgrade going forward. Bayern are interested in him but they seem to be targeting Trippier now instead. Which leaves him as an available option perhaps for the summer.
Dalot is doing a decent job as RB we need a LB more
This signing will be a waste of money. United should not go anywhere this player he is not good enough technically
Hes not it
He’s not good enough
Noooo he is not good enough
He’s another overrated English player, would rather go for Antonio Silva
Another overhyped English player!😂😂😂
Branthwaite is neither perfect nor one of the best. Massively overrated and overpriced.
