Good lord. It’s overwhelming how deep this game’s mechanics are. It seems fun but it also seems unapproachable lol
AyeeRockyy you start with the small and important pieces. And after a while you learn what stuff you need in order to put certain stuff in your weapon. For example take the AK74.
You can’t put a sight on it because it can’t attach to anything but if you put something called a TULA, it will allow you to put a sight on it
The game is trash. Farming stuff and selling scrap on AH? Give me a break.
Until they make it a battle royal, no one cares.

I dunno, i'm looking for videos to maybe play this game and the first 4 minutes of this one were showing us a guns attachments. I was looking for something more along the lines of how is tarkov different from other similar games. And then he finally gets into a raid (without really explaining what they are beyond "areas you can go get loot in") and shows us weapon animations for a good minute lol. Everything explained here i had figured would be the case, didn't learn anything lol

Wait...I can hold C and mouse wheel up/down to CHANGE HOW LOW I CROUCH ARE YOU KIDDING ME
Another little known bit is if you hold R and scroll with your mousewheel, you can pick what mag to load, or if you have a gun that can top load, you can bypass loading a new mag and top load your current one if you have loose ammo in your rig/pockets (m700 for example).
Or double tap r to fast reload if you need a magazine quickly. But it does drop your mag on the ground which you will have to pick back up after your fight but it's a lifesaver in a gunfight and your out of ammo

Best game ever. 100 percent recommend this game when you get that pvp it’s like nothing you’ll ever experience. Like a real life video game literally, these are real life things. Insanely fun

I feel like this is the future of high-level FPS gaming, maybe even competitive gaming. The ability to master these subtle movements and use them in a way that's as close to IRL movement as we've probably seen in a shooter is going to be a defining factor in elite FPS gaming.

@@jorgelorenzo5896 Who else has done it at this level of detail? Sure there has been advanced movement in games for a while, lean, etc., but not like this. Progressive crouch? Various degrees of lean, looking independently of aim? If I've missed all of this in other games, you're right, I'm behind. I just can't think of another game that has done it like this. What else is this detailed?

finally people are starting to realise that this game exists! first shroud and now lupo (i know a lot of streamers play but to get people playing its helpful to get a few big streamers to get it out there)

Nah its not about the big streamers. If the game is trash nobody plays it. As in the previos years the perfomance was a nightmare. But now the perfomance is ok and the game idea can shine now.

A Fortnite streamer Loeya just started playing this game, and I told her in chat that this game is more than 2 years old and that I was watching Dr. Lupo play this game for 2 years, and she didn't believe me lol.
You have no idea how long I’ve been waiting for this video. I’ve watched a Tarkov stream or two but I didn’t know any controls or how intricate it is.

Bought the game two days ago. Today I got my first good loot, a pretty decked out Ak74, and a sniper looking gun which name I already forgot. I absolutely love the depth of the game, and how easy it is to use all the mechanics like blindfire and adjusting walking speed, without having to migrate your fingers 12 miles off the WASD keys. Also the best weapon modification system I have ever seen! I can see great things coming out of this game in the future.

Sometimes I forget how amazing this game is. I have been playing for so long, so I'm used to all this stuff. But seeing someone describe it like this gives me that same feeling I got when first getting into Tarkov. Like wow, this game is nothing like anything I have played before. By far my favorite game for the last two years.

@@freezxng_moon I've been heavily considering purchasing, I love the depth and Intricacy of this game. No holding hands bullshit, how long did it take you guys to get a relatively solid overall understanding? The game seems to have an endless amount of new things to always learn which is so sick.
@@OGX3NO i think i got the hang of the game in like 2 to 3 days. I did get a lot of help tho from a lot of other players in the community i was in and still am. It's hard and really challenging on your own, but having another pair of eyes looking around with you does make it a bit easier sometimes
@@ItsMeJordyy I'm not sure what level of "overall understanding" you mean when you say you got the hang of the game, but I bought the game a few months ago and I think I might just be only starting to get a hang of it, completing quests and surviving about 1 out of 3 raids as PMC. The sheer amount of map knowledge just to begin playing- with everything else not even taken in factor- is legitimately crazy.
Were you truly competent after just 2-3 days? I would say it takes about a month of semi-regular playtime, on 1-2 maps tops, to be comfortable playing. And only then on those 1-2 maps.
@@namelessdisasters yeah okay, i know that it didnt take me too long because of the big amounts of help that i got from the community. But it probably isnt 2 to 3 days no. It probably did take a bit longer. (More then 2 years passed by when i started playing) At the start i played the game so much that i started to look like some adicted gamer. And at the time i did know a fair bit about the game and stuff. After a while i stopped playing for a while bc it looked like the good thing to do, it was so bad that i started dreaming about the game. But if we start to talk about map knowledge at this moment, then i can only run customs and Factory with knowing the actual call outs. All the other maps i don't know anymore. It probably did take me longer tho tbh when i thing back about it
I haven't watched too many Tarkov streams, but I've seen parts of the last couple and I'm really impressed by the game. Seeing the breakdown of the gunsmith parts and the depth in the controls gives me a whole new respect for the game itself. That detail is amazing

More like huge grind curve of skills. Rather than learning curve to me. Like reloading mosin for days in a bush to level a gunskill. Or hitting your friend in the foot just to level strengh so you can run fast😂
History Reader you can grind or you can play the game and just level up as you play.. I don’t see the point of grinding in a beta game especially when they reset it once in a while

I’ve killed juicy guys with just a scav mosin. I’m having a lot of fun with the game but I guess it’s not for some people especially ones that rage after getting killed by someone with armour

I've seen heaps of gameplay and found it really hard to understand what the whole idea was of it which made it hard to watch. Can't wait to watch more people playing this now I have a better idea of what it is actually all about. Thanks Lupo :)
In a very simple way to explain it. You go into raids to get gear/complete quests so that you can level up your traders (who sell you equipment) so that you can better prepair for your next raid. End game tarkov is just going into raids looking for pvp. Simple concept but the game is a little mind boggling at first glance because theres so much shit to do/learn

I found this game complicated when I started and I came from Arma.
ARMA! THE most infamously unapproachable game.
Parts that have limited compatibility need more explanation in their descriptors.
Like half the handguards with alternate mounting systems don't tell you if they're KEYMOD, M-LOK, or CAS-V.
I had to just know from real life gun mounting (like knowing Magpuls are M-LOK) which is not a reasonable expectation from gamers who aren't gun nuts, especially non-american ones.
its not too bad in game tbh. There is a feature when building guns called linked search, and itll only pull up parts which are compatible. But yes, if you do have some random handguard in your stash and you wanna put it on a gun, it may be uncompatible.

When you get hang of it, you literally dont want to play any other games. Learning could be hard but even total noob with a pistol can oneshot thicc boy to his face. Thats cool.

It's far from perfect, trust me. Still needs a lot of work

Game is far from perfect. A lot of server bugs and small stuff that can get frustrating. Like right now the servers don’t work due to overload with new playerz
But the team is definitely working and fixing those bugs as fast as possible
What is the starting equipement(I suppose we don t start with nothing)
a couple basic guns, basic sets of armor, some backpacks and some provisions. but even if you take all that stuff out and lose it, you can play as a "scav", which is a premade character you get every 20 minutes or so with a free, cheap kit, and you get to play a raid with them and keep anything you escape with to use on your main guy

I came to Tarkov in 2017 after clocking around 2000 hours on DayZ.
It was mostly an intuitive game for me to pick up and learn because of that.
That being said: I always forget how truly complex the game really is until I have to teach the game to a new player who has never played a game like Arma or DayZ before.
I haven't played much this wipe but I have 3400 hours on Tarkov now - the only game that ever surpassed my 2200 on DayZ. Really an incredible game.

i always wondered how Tarkov worked.. it really is deep.. the gun attachments have attachments lol so if you die and someone takes your stuff, bye bye built gun and everything you brought?
If your items are not insured you lose them forever. You can save presets of certain weapon builds so you can make it again if you lose it.
If your items ARE insured, you can get them back if no one grabs it.
I would like to get into this, but I don’t have the time rn to invest. Wish I was still a school kid back in the day haha.

Can you build bases
Remy D you do have a base but it’s more of like a solo thing. No one can come and raid it (yet?) but you can upgrade it in order to help your character heal faster, rest or whatever.
It's amazing how detailed the gun parts are. Such an amazing amount of detail.
