Syntell, you saw Lee Do hyun in The Glory. He played the doctor boyfriend. Renowned as the new-age melodrama king, his casting was undoubtedly a perfect fit for the episode. Meanwhile, Seo In Guk, who plays the lead role here, deserves more recognition for his exceptional acting prowess. Since "The Smile Has Left Your Eyes," I've been captivated by his talent, and that drama will forever hold a special place in my heart.
the acting from lee do-hyun and go youn-jung is really top notchi n this episode. selling the emotional connection believably between two characters with no previous screentime. the show's ability to jump between genres fairly seamlessly between episodes or mid-episode is also really well done.
Death’s Game is one of the best K-drama in a while. With the A List of actors and actresses and a great plot. I’m putting this along with few others in a must watch for anyone who are first time with K-drama. I put few others because it’s a bit too long lists 😂
15:50 Yeah, unfortunately, the part with the name doesn't translate easily to people who don't speak Korean. It's really hard to pick up in audio when you're relying on reading subtitles. The main character's name is Yee-Jae, but in Korean, saying "I still..." is very close to "yee-jae". Knowing that, if you go back to that scene and hear it, you can see it very much sounds like he's saying the MC's name when he's saying "I still..." That's why Ji-Su has that subtle bewildered look on her face, him just saying "I still... I still haven't come up with a name" actually made her think about her ex-bf.
Not sure if you picked up on it, but the guy who drove into them and killed them at the end is very connected with the story, he is the brother of the company executive that he failed to get a job with in the first episode, he was the one who conducted the 2nd interview and declined him the position, & here we meet him again as the club owner, he is very intertwined moving forward, stay tuned.
I think y’all have the same perspective as the main character it was all fun and games and now it just got serious. The baby I think was such a strong message because it was someone powerless who wasn’t given a choice on life or death. Our main guy may have felt powerless but he took several things for granted as we see in this episode and he did have control to make a choice of life and death. There was a case in South Korea of a baby girl Jeong-In who was murdered by her adoptive parents similarly to this but more gruesome and I couldn’t help but think about that case and so many poor innocent children suffering from abuse. I think this episode as hard is it may be to think about was great to advocate on child abuse and adults get away with it all the time.

It was the CEO who promised the daredevil a 3 billion won reward if he succeeded in his jump, it was the CEO who killed that woman on the hit and run and paid the MMA fighter to take the fall for him - and also later on paid the other inmates to kill the MMA fighter for daring to threaten him - and it was the CEO who hired the assassins gang to put a bomb on his younger brother's plane, the first life our MC took in the beginning of Death's Game. Also, he was the one interviewing the MC on his last job interview where he appears to be praising him, but by seeing that the MC didn't get the job we can deduce he was only being sarcastic. The fact that the MC killed the model and Ji-su at the end counts just as another "traffic accident" but had nothing to do with the previous deaths. It's just that as we learned, he doesn't care if he kills people.

The girlfriend would have died either way, if he wasn’t talking/interacting with her as it’s explained by Death in next episode. The only moment he was was just when he chased by those gangsters. 😅
This is just a biggening. There will be more traumatizing scene waiting for you in the next episode. And you guys have to recall where you saw that villan. He was that high level person that interviewed the MC saying good things and then still not hired the MC. And he is the older brother of the CEO that died on the plane.... And is the guy that did the hit and run and put the guy in jail in his place using money. And as someone pointed out in the comments is the guy that sponsered the VIP party that this model guy went early on. This would be the villan's second time(maybe more) he hit someone by accident(I think) with a car. Maybe he is the serial killer that is mentioned in the news paper or something. But I'm not sure if he has anything connected to the model guy or is taking any revenge here. We need to find that out in the next episode. Why he killed them.

So i must confess tt Im actually "benefitting" from ur "trauma" from watching this 🥺🥺🥺 but i really appreciate the concept or rather the questions raised in this drama, about how death & suffering & living are perceived. And your reactions & thoughts upon watching. Like Summer, TWD which I followed faithfully till season 6/7 left me "traumatised". I didn't want to watch a zombie show after that. I watched Train to Busan solely through reaction videos. (And that's how I got started following reactors channels 😅) I love Lee Do Hyun's acting & Go Youn Jung too. So I'll be more prepared to watch this episode later on my own, ready to ff through the horrific abuse scenes 😭😭

Whoever did the subtitling definitely fked up in that part.. it's obviously such a crucial scene but went on to translating it to such a bland line..

Aww it kinda feels like the episode beginning with the heaviness of the abused baby really took out the sails from the rest of the episode
