- Another different area of the H.D.A.A. waters. I spent far to long trying to get to this area. Even though I arrived in Hereford by 7.00a.m. Having not fished the area before was a nuisance. I arrived at The dairy in Bartonsham. Thinking I could park and access the water from there. No such luck. Then arriving at Eign. I attempted to take my 4 wheeled barrow . Down a slanted path, overgrown with stingy nettles . This path was far to narrow and awkward to take a barrow. H.D.A.A. bailiff changed my fortune. Then guided me on the strait and narrow to Bartonsham.
Looks nice down there Robert,at least you didn't blank mate and ime sure you will give it another try sometime mate.
It's definately worth another try. A new stretch of the Wye to me. I did not scratch the surface of what this area has to offer. You need to cut back your gear. So you are doing a roving approach. There are quite steep banks on this side. However once your in the water. You can access a lot of swims.
Another good informative video Rob. Very sorry you will no longer be able to show vids from GAC waters, as members we found your vids useful. Keep up the good work. Regards Jim
Thanks Jim, loved the comment.
Rob, I can't find any Info on cardiff bay barrage areas ? Can you help please ??
@@Dillbendy If you are a Glamorgan Angling Club member. You will have maps supplied showing the areas where you can fish. I believe the areas are in Hamadryad Park. In the Grangetown area of Cardiff. The maps are supplied with your membership, rules book and club licence.
@@robertoliverfishingdaysout GAC don't control the waters mate , everything done through the harbour authority .
I need to know if its worth paying for , I've seen the odd angler but never seen a fish caught , the pegs on the river ely are hardly accessible ( overgrown)
@@Dillbendy If you look on glamorgan angling club website. You will see that a club licence will need to be shown to the harbour authority if requested. Many of Glamorgan anglers waters are leased or shared by other clubs. It is up to you if you want to purchase a licence. There are definitely fish in the lower ely and taff where it joins s the harbour. These are the areas that glamorgan anglers have permission to fish if a club licence is requested by the authority. All the above is available info on Glamorgan Anglers website. On the Internet.
