Kelley Joe Phelps is a spiritual paragon! My goodness he has harnessed the most captivating path to a spiritual closeness to God that I have ever witnessed. I miss him so much. It melts my heart when I can’t discover what his heart is saying, more recently, during these distressed uncertain times. His music is a beacon for me! He answers a lot of questions..............Man, KJP, if you can see this post......please let me hear more!! I implore!
So true!
Robin Scott, you nailed it....been listening to KJP LEAD ME ON nonstop.... My God I hope he is well and comes out of retirement...
Such a great talent who is much missed.
Greatest musician I’ve ever seen or known. He was always very kind to me
Kelly Joe was a great friend of mine, who passed away 5.31.22
As sad as I am at KJP's withdrawal from the music world, I continue to find great comfort, joy, inspiration, and solace in the many recordings and videos that he made. Wherever he is now, I can only wish him the peace he so richly deserves. The world is a better place for the music he has given us.
This is a precious document as KJP stopped playing many of these songs after Roll Away the Stone was released (who knows why?). Absolutely the high point of his career.
Rest in Power!!!
I saw him a week before this and ran tape on Oct. 20, 1996 in EUG, OR.
Thanks. Brings back great memories of seeing him live. What an exceptional talent.
Hot damn....thank you for posting this ❤️
Dope.
Coś pięknego...
O super że ktoś z Polski zna KJP. On jest geniuszem
@@AdamKrukowski.
I jest tu jeden z moich ulubionych utworów, "Cypress Grave" (chociaż najbardziej lubię "I've been Converted").
Lenoir.
Piewrszy raz usłyszałem go kiedy miałem 17 lat, bardzo dawno temu, w 1982 roku...

Pozdrawiam T.Z.

KJP a le son. Merci
does anyone know if he was playing lap top or regular on this show?
he had the guitar lying flat on his lap here.
Anybody who knowa where he went and why?
@@AdamKrukowski He's made a statement on Facebook in 2016 where he says, the problems with the nerve are gone....
i'm certainly not an authoritative source, but what i gleaned from his own words, and listening to the last album he released, it seems to me he had some sort of a crisis and decided he needed to withdraw from the music world and focus on some long neglected parts of his life. I can only hope he is well and has found peace.
He is in heaven now. RIP KJP
@@katherinebryan9921 I have tape of him at Cafe Lena, "wish I was in Heaven sittin' down..."
@@erikjromano I believe he is there . He knew the way the truth and the life. He knew Jesus. Read John 14. God bless you
