- This episode should be titled: Riding going to the sun road with no cars one and a half times and climbing mount Reynolds. It's a confusing time to adventure and this episode is a great example of the confusion that's out there. Doesn't mean you can't have an awesome time. It just means you have to be flexible and pack a lot of food.
I say this with no hint of sarcasm, this channel is a gift. It inspires adventure and stokes the fire!
Right? I lost my sunglasses so I cant run for a few weeks. I always watch these guys before big runs or when I cant get outside.
@@ryanv1279 I watch them on every vacation out west to get myself pumped for hikes.
helps if you have a bike...
65miles and 11,000ft of vert. That’s not even human. Y’all are machines!
It’s not a hard climb
nah, sounds pretty mediocre
77
Its not mediocre amateurs without an immense amount of unexpected miles
When visiting Glacier, the twitter page is by far the most updated and best way to find out what is open/closed
Forever the sickest group of friends on youtube.
them and adventure archives. Different style but great nonetheless!
It’s kind of hard for me to reconcile that a group of cool, seemingly normal guys are also full-on super-human animals. I just can’t wrap my head around what you are able to accomplish in a single day. One of the best videos on one of CZcams’s very best channels. Please keep them coming.
the 70s bike touring pics are so dope.
Just climbed Reynold today because of this video. It didn’t disappoint. Thanks guys!
I made the video! I can be seen at 8:50 when Danny looks up to the gate and says, "we're thinking we will go back down." It's funny I saw these three guys running down the trail and I thought, who runs this trail in bike shorts and some kind of European mountain boot? It was an absolutely gorgeous day. I wish I would have know to hike up Mt Reynolds with these lunatics! Well done gentlemen.
The 1 thumbs down must be from the public communications manager for the NPS.
I thru hiked the Continental Divide Trail in 2018, and the finish was in Glacier NP. It was one of the best rewarding finishes to any of the long trails I’ve hiked. Great video and nostalgic to watch!
I feel like so many people have some sort of connection to glacier that relates to family. So glad you are doing this
Stuck in the hospital today and this has made me so motivated to get out there after I recover. I loved all of it I live in Montana and this is my. home. I so want to do this ride.
I have a serious chronic illness and I just messaged my best friend this channel is lighting a fire under me to get healthy enough to get back out there or die trying.
I went to Glacier National Park 2 weeks ago, because of this video. You guys rock!
09:50 a hamburger and fries for lunch before the climb to Logan Pass. As a long time subscriber of your channel this is the greatest feat I have ever seen here, or possibly on all of CZcams. Also glad to see the S-Works Diverge survive the freeway episode. You guys are my hero.
I like that these guys aren't busy hawking endorsements and products halfway through their videos
You guys are truly amazing , this has to be your most spectacular trips, to fit so much in a single day , it is an incredible accomplishment
Wow. You guys made this video just for me!! My Dad and I were just reminiscing about climbing Mt Reynolds back in the 1990s, except.......that is all we did that day. You guys did two days of hiking in one day. Good job avoiding the grizzlies on the trails....we had a run in with a young grizzle right by the bridge at the start of the loop trail on the way down from Granite park chalet. Thank You!!!!!!
Goosebumps! One of your best videos yet. Thanks for another fine upload!
Hello! I have been watching you for a few months and I have to say... this was one of the COOLEST adventures on your channel. It has Views, detours and bears in perfect mediocre fashion. 👍👍👍
Awesome adventure. I really like the longer format too. Thanks for sharing guys!
I don’t know the words to describe how amazing what you guys did here !!!!!
Amazing Amazing Amazing is about the best that I can find :)
Thanks for sharing !!!
What a classic adventure! It's all about going with the flow out there! Nice video.
Glacier is STUNNING. Been a year since I first visited and I can't wait to get back! Thanks for sharing this with us!
Dillon Sullivan I haven't been there since last year, I live in Montana and usually go to glaicer every year but this year since only 1 campground is open we decided it would be better to go to Lewis and Clark caverns
You guys are just awesome... wish I could tag along but I'm 72, overweight and out of shape. When you look at me you'll understand that the shortest distance between two points is a curve. Perhaps in my next life. Great presentation.
why you say that old bruh.cut weight and go for it,you onyl live once.
Awesome video! Love watching these adventures for inspiration!
You guys are awesome ! I pedaled Going to the Sun Road in July of 2018, by far the most scenic ride I've ever done, thanks for the memory recall !
Awesome channel! It gives ideas for my next adventures! keep up the great work! Thank you.
Lots of gorgeous things to look at. Glacier National is the perfect backdrop for your July adventure. Love how you can all so easily slip from running to biking. The rest of us can only look on in open-mouthed wonder and just marvel at your ability to make it all seem so easy while providing entertaining repartee; (I was not in any way influenced by a wonderful son-in-law or his incredibly handsome friends. Although I do have a trampoline frame that needs to be taken apart.)
“GLACIER” it’s the park that lets you do it all, “Swim, Bike, Run, Climb, Ski or Board and of course “run for your life Bear and Sheep moments”. “ Utah to Banff” on a bike in the 70’s... that’s epic, Your Dad set the bar pretty high.
Unreal day! Got me so pumped for some summer adventures! Good work guys!
Awesome video guys! Always wanted to go here, and this video promotes that urge even more!
Super cool video. Loved the camera work, music sprinkled throughout, your personalities and most importantly your desire to adventure even when things didn’t go as planned.
Excited to check out the rest of your videos!
Peace,
Chris
I love what you guys do. Thanks for putting it on video. I feel that I have a great life of adverturism, and you take it to another level. Thanks!
Got chills. Glacier is such an incredible place and my favorite area. Was excited to see the upload, keep up the inspiring content.
Glad you finally made it up to GNP! Reynolds is a fav, for sure. Thanks for the inspiring content...
This made me smile throughout your whole video! Especially when you made it to Reynold’s peak! Literally brought tears to my eyes! Haha. I just biked the GTTSR June 12, 2021. 1st time! I can’t wait to watch more of your videos! What an adventure you guys had! 🙌🏼
Impresionante,la aproximación en bici,el trekking y las imágenes del parque.Congratulations,you are a big team🚵🏼🧗♀️
Epic. And yelling, "The park is closed," to the bear made it even better.
incredible footage! wishing you guys the bust of luck for future adventures
Absolutely amazing episode. Thank you
Jesus. I've climbed Reynold's Peak before, but that was all I did for the day. I can't imagine biking half way, climbing to granite pass chalet, then the grinnell glacier overlook, riding back down to the parking lot, then biking all the way back to Logan's pass BEFORE climbing Reynold's. You guys are savages.
Wow never disappoints amazing got to be one of my favorite adventures you have ever uploaded no doubt, I've mentioned it before but would love to see you guys plan more trips out in the Sierras
This channel is amazing! It inspired me to explore the Wasatch. Thanks again guys for another awesome video!
I've been jonesing for a new MA video and here they drop one full of jaw-dropping cycling scenery. So happy!
This episode is amazing!! Love this channel and yall are badasses. So inspiring keep it up!!
Wow that was awesome, it really motivates me to get into better shape. I'm glad you guys followed through on your goals. EPIC!
Another amazing video! Your guys' videos are just such a treat to watch! So fun, such cool locations, great commentary, love it all! It always amazes me how you guys don't cramp up when you do these things though! I feel like my legs would just give out on me!
Fantastic day!!!! I was concerned that you would spend too much time trying to find the route up Reynold's. But then I saw a shot and went "They're in the right place!!!!" I'm impressed that you found a place to park at Avalanche.....twice.
This is the only channel I've ever subscribed to. You guys are the best.
Best channel on youtube, so hyped every time I see a new video from you guys!
How do you not have 500k subs?!
This is probably one of my favorite videos of this channel! Loved it!
I live vicariously through your videos. Thanks for posting.
Awesome as allways, thanks for the inspiration!
Awesome trip. This is now my second favorite right after your Mount Rainier video. Looking forward to the next bike adventure!
This channel is pure inspiration, thanks
Loving it! Keep the adventures going.
sweet guys!! I just rode the Going to the Sun Road with my cycling friends July 5th. We ended up riding from Apgar Village because Avalanche parking lot was full already. It added some more epicness to the trip, as the beautiful ride along the river was smooth and flat and so pretty. 61 miles in that day. It was awesome! So glad I found this channel. I'm 48 and I love that comment about "if my 16 year old self knew what I was doing at my current age, he'd be pretty impressed...." i so agree! Age is just a number. Keep rocking it!
Glad the videos are back! Nice adventure.
Great stuff. Love your videos as live in Switzerland. Inspired to run the Haute route next year. We do suffering but hate the swimming. So its trail running and bike in the future. Thanks for all your great videos and inspiration . You have great gear too !
Super cool and super sketch. Glad you could do it, enjoy it, and share with us!
Great video guys. Never get sick of the one liners!
Great video guys. Gotta say, live here, been there, done that. So I appreciate what you've been there to appreciate. It IS spectacular. Try a moonlight bike ride , 2 AM, Aug., no lights up and down the pass. Outta try it - It's also spectacular.
Who could possibly give this a thumbs down? One of your best videos to date. Awesome job guys!
National Park Service employee…
Always great videos from you guys.
Incredible payoff! You three are awesome - good for you for sticking with your goal.
Great video, guys...keep 'em coming!
One of the best! Awesome stuff guys
Solid job you guys! You’ll never regret the days you went the extra mile; glad you bagged Reynolds same day!
This was one of the greatest videos I've ever watched on CZcams
I've been looking forward to a new video and you're riding in Glacier!!!
What an incredible day! Way to roll with the changes! Glad you all made it back ok and with the cherry on top!
This made me smile and yell a woo when you reached Mt. Reynolds! I'm nursing my knee right now and all I want to do i's get out there! I love the Road to the Sun. I went to Glacier last year. Was hoping to return this year. But I'm on the other side of the border. So close yet so far. Beautiful country. We didn't see bears but we say moose. Bull and a female.
Keep on rocking and climbing!
Glad to finally see you guys in Glacier! Reynolds is just a small taste of the amazing views you can get. I’m lucky to live just a short drive from the West entrance. When I saw the gate closed I thought it may have been an avalanche, a bunch of cyclist were caught in one last year. Awesome you were able to make it to the pass. It’s such a fun ride.
Glacier Park: One of the most beautiful places on Earth and in my state. Nice video.
It is so pretty up on the top! I feel that I want to cry watching this!!
Oh come on Kristoff tell us how you really feel... LOL
You guys are animals! I spent a summer driving the free shuttle to Logan pass and back and I know that is a long journey by bicycle... goodonya mate! You brought back great memories. Thank you!
You guys are the best beyond anything at making the best videos out there today. Please,, please,, please keep doing it!!!!
Damn this is a GREAT channel! Why can't I have friends like this!
That was so cool thanks for taking us along
Only thing missing was “fat wheezy” Blake. Great video guys.
Hey guys thanks for your videos! The Highline from the loop is cool and in 2019 I was charged by a sow with a couple of cubs in the burn below the chalet at dusk and by myself. Fun times!
Spectacular video guys!
Killer! 😎👍
Awesome video bros. You guys inspire me to up my game.
All y’all gentiles really cracked me up when Christof was talking about how you can’t complain in Glacier NP and Danny just cut in with “you can.” Keep up the good work!
I did the Loop Trail one way to Logan's pass and it took me 6 hours (a lot of stopping to take pics and lunch). You guys are not mediocre. Love your channel and want more!
Easily one of the best adventure channels on CZcams. You guys should plan another adventure in Grand Teton or Yellowstone at the end of August. I'd love to run into you guys on the trails!
You guys made that scramble up Reynolds look easy! god damn haha We struggled with it. The loose rock got to me. Nice job as always!
Montana is home and I do the sun road by bike in spring and in fall every year. By far the best rides ever!
This year in particular I have never seen so many tourists in glacier, I’ve only been able to go up twice this spring due to the overcrowding zoo there, we drove up one morning earlier this July an it was so packed we turned right the heck around and went somewhere else. Never seen it so packed.
This video is awesome and you guys are an awesome group of friends and inspiring to watch you guys as I am about the same age. Cheers!
This is my home state National Park, I love GNP!!! Glad y'all had such an awesome adventure.
Looks like an amazing day!!! Glad you went for it !
Great vid guys! Last summer i started an 80 mile backpacking loop from the same trail head!
way to see christoff rocking the revelate designs, hometown brand
Thank you for posting this! I can't hike, so I can hike vicariously thru y'all.
Another awesome episode! ✨😎☮️🧡🇺🇸👣🏞️🐾🚵🐻🌌
Tennis anyone? Ya'll definitely got the BALLS ......Awesome video and ride and run and climb......Bear knew better than to mess with 3 BAD DUDES
Great camera work and scenery was breathtaking....That was AWESOME....Bear didn't seem to mind the company
This is my fav NP and it’s amazing! We went there in august and saw a lot of bikers thinking who ate those crazy people lol You are awesome!
They have a we side with great every day updates on what parts of the park are open or closed!
We did that Monday on mtn bikes! Absolutely amazing ride, we had about 5 different stories from 5 different park employees on when and where the road was closed so you're right, their communication is horrible for pre-planning, and even traffic control was a mess once in the gate. We got up at 3am and drove from Polebridge do make sure we made it to the parking lot at Avalanche before it filled up which was a good call, had the place to ourselves in the morning....great video!
dope shit as always, been watching for long time.you guys solid af.
