avery lo Yeah whenever te camera lingered on the interviewer's face, you could almost see cartoon hearts floating around. Very funny.
As far as his accent goes, as a North Easterner, he always sounds like he has a southern accent, or a Texas Drawl, but since his speech pattern is so precise, in real life and in character, it doesn't make him sound stupid, as (I'm really sorry, but it's true) as a southern accent can sometimes do.

It makes sense that Bazinga became a phrase because of Jim, his method acting is so thorough as a cynical obsessive that when he showed enthusiasm saying 'bazinga' it gave him a small amount of charisma or the feeling that in that moment at least he was content.

It's beautiful- one of the small details that makes life achingly beautiful- noticing someone's affection for another in a way that is unexpected, unedited, unpredicted. Just pure unfiltered emotion of being struck by the beauty of another.

The interviewer is unprofessional. He's making Jim feel uncomfortable hence his lack of eye contact. You can see his discomfort.
The interviewer seems to be hitting on Parsons. The relentless stare with the ambiguous smile, the shirt buttons open too wide to show some chest. I feel as though I'm intruding on a seduction.

Ditto! The "ball pit" scene is an absolute classic! I often wonder how many takes it took and how long Jim and Johnny rehearsed that entire scene before they both were able to do it without totally losing it and cracking up!
What's funny is he doesn't realize it... but some of the way he talks is EXACTLY like sheldon. It's the way he phrases things and the words he uses, but that also means he is a lot more intelligent than many people, he had a lot less umm's than most actors!

Just because you can talk without pauses, or um's, does not mean that you are intelligent. At all. I'm finding a hard time understanding how your logic suggests that, when there are numerous examples of intelligent people who have speech impediments and disorders. Great interview. Jim seems like such a nice guy. Also, well done on his character as Sheldon, it is just so impressive and believable. Imagine how tedious must have been to remember those lines! Ouch! I was shocked that he's 40, because to my eyes, Jim is early thirties. Love the show, love all of the crew members, great job! Oh and you know what, this show doesn't turn your brain into mush, makes you think every once in a while.

Couldn't think of any actor who would have played Sheldon better. Jim Parsons is the only perfect fit for Sheldon. The way he's still humble amazes me too on top of his impressive acting skill which is too hard. I mean memorizing long complex scientific lines and delivering it in one breath to make people laugh? Jim is so talented!

He does a great job as Sheldon. The rest of the characters are rather cliche and I suspect in the future will be forgotten, but he is just so over-the-top that he has become iconic and very popular.
