Saw Travis Tritt a few years ago in a small venue. It was him, his guitar, and a stool. One of the best shows I’ve ever seen. Pure talent. I can’t hear this song and not cry. Like ever.

This song is actually part of a trilogy. Tell Me I was Dreaming...That one is about his wife being pregnant and dying. If I Lost You is about his daughter surviving her moms death and him being scared to lose her too. and Anymore is about him admitting he can't let her go, even though he has to in order to get on with his life. It's a sad trilogy but very, very beautiful.

For starters this is a great track; one of the best. I am sure that if someone were to create something like this, even today, we would listen to it and remark on how good it is. The music is in the air, it's just that most of us don't know how to organize it. I am so thankful for the musicians that make this experience possible. We are blessed by Amazing Grace.

their a story that can relate to this song I want to share with everyone. many many years ago my father when he was in high school fell in love with a girl he was just head over heels for..he went on a couple dates with her but never told her how he really felt about her. one day in high school he asked her to marry him. she said she wasn't ready to get married yet. he was crushed but said ok..i will wait. he never changed his feeling about her. was very fond of her. the 2nd year of him being in college he came home to visit his mom and found out she got married to someone else. it devastated him so bad he almost flunked college..but he wouldn't give up. he kept talking to her..he eventually got married to my real mom..but he wasn't happy. he was married to my real mom for 16 years..he had me and my brother. well over time she changed and became an alcoholic ..was very abusive to my dad and almost tried to kill my father and me and my brother. Luckily she was unsuccessful so he had to divorce her. my real mom made his life a living hell while they were divorced but he servied it. he got custody of me and my brother. he never forgot about the girl he still had feeling for and was head over heels for. he found out that she got divorced as well before he did. So he was back and forth about showing his real feeling to her. and wanted to marry her and have her be his wife. He knew if he didn't tell her he loose her again. so he called her one day on the telephone told her his divorce was final.he told her for many years he loved her very very much and the feeling have never changed and cant see his life without her and asked her to marry him. She was totally surprised by this and said well I don't really know you..we dates a couple times and we are good friends but I don't know I mean I don't feel the same way you do..he said ok why don't we take it slow then and get to know me better. so they dated and then she realized she love him and then eventually they got married. they have now been married for 20 years. she has been the best step ,mom to my brother and I for 20 years. she married my dad when I was 10 years old. It was best thing my dad ever did. so when I hear this song I think of my dad. it went years in torcher of loving her so bad but didn't really know how to really tell her. so that my story.

My High School Sweetheart I were split up for a little over a year. I had a Taxi Company in Hackettstown New Jersey and I just dropped off a Couple at The Town Crier Bar who were celebrating their 5 year anniversary. Listening to them talk about their history together reminded me of Lisa and I. I stopped at a red light on Main street and these two kids from Hackettstown High School crossed in front of me the young girl was wearing his varsity football coat Totally reminded me of us. At that exact second Travis Tritt "Anymore" came on the radio. I got a lump in my throat and my heart started aching. I felt like it was God talking to me and telling me to call her and let her know how I feel. The only problem was she was in another relationship. I often wonder if I never made that call, Where would I be? I personally think I would have died without her. She and my Kids are my reason to live. This month we celebrate 25 years of marriage... That is the POWER OF MUSIC.
