This route is next to the Danube river so there is almost no climbing to do, but there is a stone forest reserve along the way (Bohemian and Saxon Switzerland National Park), and if you want to get to the top where you have the best view it means some climbing but not a lot.
The overall experience was great. Real nice hotels and amazing views. Around 70km a day, but you can make it longer for fewer kilometers a day if you wish.
