I was born and raised in South India listening to Nazia. Actually she was a BIGGGGG part of my childhood and was the first artist ever I idolised. I can still remember that awful day I heard about her death. She was a beautiful soul...
Great art never cares about borders and the political agendas. Now I live abroad and when my Pakistani friends and colleagues talk about some Indian artists with similar adoration and respect, it reminds me how normal everybody is in every country when their politicians and armies fight with each other.
I was just in middle school back then? What a hit her songs were Even in South India.!My Dad still has her LP record but sadly no record player. Its an antique now.I still remember the lyrics. Jaana sung by her and her bro is my fav. Soulful voice. Only few years ago i knew her story. Really sad. RIP dear.
@hemalathayoutube3843
Record players recently made a dramatic comeback and they are back in fashion now. Did you try online? I still have a massive cassette and cd collection and a very few vinyls. I got my first ever record player only 2 years ago.
leaving a comment here so that if someone like this comment then I can come back here to list to this master piece.
Bro if ur I'd is active the enjoy the songs
She was a sensation, Left this world too soon . I remember having bought the vinyl record in Kolkata. In 1982 I am still listening to her songs @ 55 yrs of age .
😊
I am an Indian, but I swear to God, I am a big fan of Nazia. She is not with us anymore, but she still lives in our heart and will always be. She is immortal. Beautiful voice and an equally beautiful person. Rest in peace Nadia, no matter where you are, we all luv u and will always love you.
Fuck with u and ur swearing, nobody gives a fuck abt it
I have been listening her songs since 1982 in every Ramaz because at that we had just cassette player to listen their melodious songs and we used to play at sehri time to motivate us, because there was no concept of television broad cast at sehri time and my elder sister used to play on her small cassette player. And now in 2019 I am recalling and getting fresh my memories with their songs whereas most of the persons have passed away of family as well but .... Can't be forgotten.
Deepak Sahoo why are you killing minorities in your country then🤔
@@samrobins9066 i can ask you the same thing & a whole a lot, but i won't coz this is an artist's place, we'll sort it out at any other place...

I was in 11th std when a close friend bought this marvelous venyl disc from Calcutta. Mesmerizing songs. I listened them for several years. Those songs left an indelible mark on my mind. Now I am 55 but Nazia continues to rule a part of my mind. I applied, those days, for Nazia Hassn Fan Club.

Is it still with you? Does the vinyl still works?
As a teenager growing up in Hyderabad of the late 70's and early 80's these songs from Nazia had such an impact on me and my siblings. We would listen to them on cassettes played on a Panasonic tape recorder/player. Can never get this album out of my head. I now live in New Zealand and advise more people to come and settle here but I have to listen to this album at least once a week to reconnect me to those glorious younger years. Nazia lives forever in our hearts and minds. And now that is a life well lived to have such an impact on many, many people.

Nazia Hassan (1965 ~ 2000) was a Pakistani singer-songwriter, lawyer and social activist. Referred to as the Queen of South Asian pop, she is considered one of the most influential singers in the subcontinent. During the 1980s, she, along with her brother Zoheb Hassan, went on to sell over 65 million records worldwide....!
Thanks for sharing the information. Love from India
My goodness 65 million.. 🥶🥶🥶
She got a break from indian composer Biddu,he made her famous, but got married to Pakistani guy who killed her by poisoning..her next life will b in india by God grace
Saludos , todo Perú la ama ❤
@@starshtcNaziaHassan did not need a break. As a young student prodigy of venerable Sohail Ra'na, she was already well known in Pakistan. She needn't a break. Her talent was quite enough. Of anything, the name of Indian composer is known due to her voice. Nazia Hassan died of cancer, not poison. Her husband, Ishtiaq Baig, is a known & respected industrialist.
I born at 1983. But i love her songs and her personality so much. I started listening her from 2005. Every time I play her music i regret, why she isn't here... may The Creator keep this pure heart singing bird in his forever garden...

These songs can not be forgotten. We are lucky that we saw that era of 90s and grew up listening to Nazia's songs. Unfortunately Nazia Hassan died at very young age. Tears in my eyes while writing this. The popularity she got could not get by leading singers of her time. 65 million records sale in 1980 shows that what kind of pop singer she was. RIP
This is an extra ordinary album! This takes me back to 1980,when it was released,I was 23yrs old.i was just mad of this album! Especially those two songs, lakin mera dil anddil mera yeh kehta hai! During those days even tape recorders were not available. I used to go to my friend's house who was also my college mate. He had one gramophone player and a disc so when ever I went to his house my first option was to listen all the songs of Disco deewane. To day this has taken me back to those good old memories!
I am Now 52 But Even Today Nazia Hassan's All Songs Are Extremely Melodious & It's A Privilege to Hear & Enjoy Her Singing & Music.
Elegant, stylish, beautiful and coupled with a melodious voice, Nazia Hassan had it all that made everyone in Pakistan (and abroad) fall in love with her. Till date no one has been able to close to her persona following the years of her untimely death. Still Loved and cherished by millions.

I am listening to Nazia's songs in May 2021 & I still feel as charmed as I felt in the 80's when I was an early teenager..
Dada dil jeet liya
M bahut bada fan hu nazia ka
Shyad kuch alag daur le kar aai thi ye ladki👍❤️🙏
I was in class 8th, and the year was 80-81 when this Nazia Hassan album was released. "Disco Deewane"
All songs of this album are excellent. Now, in 2023, my age is now 55, but still, I hear these songs. Still, these unforgettable evergreen songs of Nazia Hassan seem to be fresh . Still, I have vinyl LP of Nazia Hassan that I keep with my heart..
Can't forget the innocent voice of Nazia.. RIP
Absolutely nostalgic! Amazing talent ..what a voice! Can’t forget those school days.
