This recording proves something that my Dad pointed out when he told me: "Elvis is so precise with his singing, and his sense of timing is so near perfect; that even when surrounded by great musicians and back-up singers, Elvis is still the best musician on that concert stage."
When I purchased a new car, in 2015, it came with 60 days of Sirius XM complimentary. Although I surfed all the channels, I kept returning to the Elvis channel. Shortly after that , I drove from Toronto to Boston. And although this channel took time out for "The Elvis Quiz," "This Day in Elvis History," and other features, the channel consisted of music. As I approached Massachusetts, I realized that I had been listening to Elvis almost continuously for eight hours. That was remarkable. No other singer; no other voice; and no other personality could be tolerated and enjoyed for so long. What a unique man.

The original version was other-worldly decades ago and this new Royal Philharmonic version is just supernatural. Elvis was always untouchable when he was firing on all cylinders. This proves just how his voice sustains through the decades. It transcends all other mortal artists. No one today sings with this conviction. Marvelous. It's all here on CZcams & Vevo, and I have all these songs elsewhere -- but, I am going to buy this one.

As kid I've seen him 5 times in concert and even had a short meeting with him, and then came awful August 16 th 1977 and my heart was broken; I went to his funeral. And really believe me I still miss that guy like hell, I see him a very close friend I lost and hope and pray I meet him again one day in heaven

It's great the Queen's band honored Elvis because when he was alive he said it was his dream to have a full proper orchestra to do some of his songs, according to Priscilla. The Queen's Royal Philharmonic Orchestra made his dream come true and Priscilla was there to watch and said Elvis would have been thrilled. They did a splendid job. Elvis sounds as fresh and powerful today on this album. This is my favourite song of Elvis, next to Can't Help Falling In Love and American Trilogy.
