Thanks for watching! The following pieces are referenced in the composition:
Ravel Gaspard De La Nuit - Ondine
Liszt Ballade No.2
Kreisler/Rachmaninoff Liebesfreud
Kreisler/Rachmaninoff Liebeslied
Prokofiev Romeo and Juliet - Love Dance
Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No.2
Mahler Symphony No.9
See if you can spot them!
mahler 9 was a nice surprise!
Liebesfreud and Liebeslied were composed by Kreisler though.
@@Dylonely42 Thank you for the clarification! The correct reference should be Kreisler/Rachmaninoff's Liebesfreud/Liebeslied, specifically Rachmaninoff's piano rendition of Kreisler's compositions.
Warning: Do not try this at home using an electric piano with an less-than-ideal supporting rack. Playing certain parts of this piece will require exerting a great deal of force on your keyboard. This may or may not result in the toppling of your electric piano, depending on the supporting rack. The composer is not liable to any damages procured in the process.
LMAOOOOOO This is a good inside joke 😂😂🤣🤣
(Also don’t play it if the piano stand is not standing properly)
This theme itself is beautiful and a great choice for variations - very well done and the references of all the other pieces work extremely well. I think variations are the ultimate "exercise" for composing because we can combine two pre-existing things and create something new.
Thank you, it was a lot of fun making this!
When I heard this piece performed live, it was absolutely beautiful!!!
Lovely composition! I love how there are so many ideas in such a short piece! And the Ravel quote is so satisfying :)
Thank you! I also liked that part very much ❤️
Loved the reference to the Liszt's ballade. Great job
Amazing that you spotted it ❤️ Thank you!
Beautiful piece!
Lmao the rachmaninoff referencing love it
Rachmaninoff was heavily referenced in this composition 😂 He is one of, if not my favourite composers
Amazing!
Glad you liked it!

@@Jetthew Hey! I got a ❤. Wow! Thank you! ❤
Good, great, awesome!
Do you have any original compositions? It’s clear you have a decently advanced harmonic knowledge and familiarity with variation form, I’d be excited to see what you’d put out!
Thank you very much! I have a few scrapped original works, and a few finished ones. I might upload some of them on this channel in the future.
This is like the peanuts Charlie Brown on a cozy winter night in the car af

Beautiful! Would you happen to have sheets available in an easily printable form?
Yes! I’ve put the link in the description just now. Or you can use this: drive.google.com/file/d/1iy5liD-tD5ZDGqojoBp6GwfZtV0oVkfO/view?usp=drivesdk
Ok hi actually want to learn this!!! How did you make such a master piece???
Thank you! You can find the link to the score in the description.
Every Christmas I would write a theme and variations on a well-known tune (2021 was Jingle Bells, 2022 was We wish you a merry Christmas). As this is my third year, I guess experience helped :)
Wow bravo!!! The time really showes. Right now I’m swamped with audition pieces to learn but I’m definitely adding this to my pieces I want to learn wishlist t:)
Btw is that you playing?
@@myless789 I am incredibly honored that someone wants to play my composition😍. It's my playing btw :)
