Lisa's book is great too! She's really honest.
I just ordered her book today! Iâm excited to get it. đ
I just use my glass lid to keep food in the fridge with the pot. And yes! Extra pot liners are a must!
Thank you for being honest. I believe you. Your channel and book is wonderful. It all works. Lisa and TTaT is totally legitimate.
I love your ideas. The cook book is fun too.
I just got my cookbook and I love it!
I make rice all the time I only lose maybe 5-10 pieces of rice and donât use anything to drain it. But I thought of getting one.
Agree that you don't need many. I also use my silicon lid and second liner all the time. What I've learnt I need now is the steamer basket because I always make my own broth and draining it is a challenge. I got fooled by the egg trivet! Bought it and have not even used it once.
Lisa, I use my Instapot at least once a day and I'd add your very sturdy silicone spatulas (some brands are flimsy) for mixing and scraping down the sides during cooking with the saute setting. Great video for new IP users - You rock, Woman! â¤
I bought the steamer basket you recommended last year and have used it SOOO much. Thanks for the recommendation. The dual set of steamer baskets from IP look like they'd really come in handy for dual cooking.
I also purchased the actual Instant Pot silicone lid and it fits tight enough for NO spills. I'd trust it, even with soup in the container.
I trust you with all things instant pot â¤
Bless u. My daughter and I arenât the best of friends but one of the precious things that bring us together is trying new things with the instant pot. Never knew we can make a potato salad or eggs. Iâd get your book but sheâs vegan and I donât eat pork. đđž
Love your cook book! I like that it is for single portions as I am a single woman. Canât wait to try all of the recipes! The pancake bites are terrific! Thank you!đ
My husband hated the red sling so when we were cleaning out cabinets and getting rid of things, he threw it into the Get Rid of It Box. I took it and cut off the handles. It's now the best trivet we've ever owned and even my husband loves it!
I love the Cooking for One!!
@Tried_Tested_and_True I can't send you a message (:
The only reason I donât buy extra liners is I have no place to put them. Wish they stacked somehow. Thanks for your video!
Lisa, my go to accessories have been the steamer baskets, silicon trivet woth handles & pot-in-pot pans. For weekend fun I also have silicon bite molds (with lids) & springform pan for cheesecake or any cake really. Let's not forget the ever popular meat masher âĄâĄâĄ Becwell.
Can you recommend good the steamer trivet and pot-in-pot pans? Thank you
Hi. You have mentioned a few times that the silicone gasket has an odor to it. I put mine into a ziplock bag and dumped a cup of baking soda into it. It doesnât remove all of the odor but it sure helps.
I have been using the same baking soda for a couple of months and it seems to still be doing the job. đ
I received an insta-pot for my birthday November 21 and I still haven't used it
I need to so bad,but I'm freaked out because I've watched videos that talk crap about them đĽş
I'm going through your videos hopefully I'll get the courage đđĽđŤ
Try her recipes for Loaded Potato Soup (very tasty) and her Pulled Pork (has a couple & all are good). And if you get a few good results, this tool won't seem so daunting. Happy Cooking!
I'm 70, watch only Lisa you'll stop being afraid. I use mine every single day for something. It even cooks frozen meat!!!!
Don't listen to the haters. It's SO easy. I don't even boil eggs in the stove anymore. đ seriously. I only touch my stove for fried eggs. Everything else is cooked in my instant pot.
I can literally brine my own corned beef in the pot in the fridge, rinse and cook it in one pot.
I got the insant pot duo, so it even bakes and air fries.
I like to buy preseasoned pork loins and put them on air fry for 30 minutes.
Literally open package, plop in and in 30 minutes perfectly done loins braised to perfection.
I've brought the instant pot non stick ceramic pot love it does not stick like the stainless pot also got the plastic lid the instant pot silicone steamer with handles and a set of sealing rings i use all these products hear in the UK I don't cook eggs or rice in mine do my eggs in the airfryer and my rice in the microwave .Got my instant pot last week on amazon when it was on sale ÂŁ54 bargain I love it use it most days
awesome, appreciate all of your research, insight + experimentation for us so we don't have to waste time/ money trying to find the best products! thanks Lisa :)
This was a great update! I definitely followed your suggestions from your earlier video and got the lid, liner and the basket without silicone foot covers. Those are my top 3 form your list.
I hope you come out with a cook book for cooking for the family. Cooking for one is nice but Iâm cooking for six
I have 1 liner that I only use for making yogurt. I did buy the glass lid for 3 qt pot that I use for yogurt.
Hi, Lisa, I was wondering if you have the ceramic pot insert for the Instant Pot as well and what you think about it? TIA! :)
Where is the link to the âclip onâ strainer? Thanks.
Lisa, can the rice washer be used for quinoa?
Would that mesh basket fit a 3 quart instant pot?
I soak the lids and rubber lid rings in hot water with a little dish soap and some vinegar. The smell is eliminated! đ
Hi! So you donât use a pot in pot accessory to reheat food. It feels like a must to me but I know you know better!!! Help!!!
Is it the Inomata Japanese Rice Washing Bowl?
I donât get why you need a steamer basket. wouldnât it be the same to just use a bowl on top of the included steamer lifter thing that comes with instant pot?
Why rinse rice? Just curious.
....I got the stackable steamer pans inserts.....they are each the same height,,,what I really want is a pair of pans where as the bottom pan would only be about 1 and a half inches tall..to catch grease from the upper pan....then a upper pan that is as tall as is usable for the six quart....with holes in the bottom of upper pan.....allowing me to cook stuffed peppers and meatloaf....with the grease draining away from the food......dos anyone know of any stackable steamer pans similar to this please message me
Put your silicon lids out in the direct sunlight for a couple of hours and they come back completely odor free.
Woah sound effects overload. It's a bit much
