    Is this for real????? Both rounds won/lost on the final shot! How insane is that. Literally nobody could have predicted the outcome of either round after 18 scoring shots. Magnificent.

      Yeah, that’s for real. It’s crazy how many of these matches came down to last shot.

    Bill is a mad man. Never uses a spotting scope and kicks everyones ass.

    Good way to release these, one at a time. The shoot format works, it's fun to watch and somewhat educational on the wind calls even. No matter how good they shoot, there are those WTH moments in there that make the whole thing work.

    Learned a lot watching great shooters shooting and analysis by the great shooters at the same time.

    Love this format Eric lots to learn mate.
    I still have not shot a clean string without dropping 1 point. Every time it’s a mid string mess up 🤦‍♂️ then I get focused again

      you'll be amazed at how quickly you'll become used to shooting clean once that first one is in your rearview mirror.

    Guys who shoot a Rattlesnake are Top Notch! Mirage would have been a better tell, because the flags are slow to react.

    Is there a link to the rules for this?? I love it, but struggle with how the scoring goes. Just when I think I have it figured out, I get surprised...

    • @f-classpointsseries
      @f-classpointsseries  Před 3 lety +1

      the links are in the description. A V is worth 5 points, a 5 is worth 5 points, a 4 is worth 4 points, etc... V's are tie breaking over points, and for a 10-shot match like this, the max would be 50-10V (10 V's).

      Really bummed out about that. Not what I (we) had hoped for. Next year we will do a better job and improve.

    What is meant by shading the target?

    • @f-classpointsseries
      @f-classpointsseries  Před 3 lety

      Shading generally means that you are holding a little high or a little low, rather than clicking in elevation changes. Sometimes it's done when you don't trust your scope or load enough to click in a change, or sometimes if you are completely confident in your setup and don't think a (vertical causing) condition is going to stick around long enough to be worth clicking off your elevation zero. It's also a bit of a philosophy choice - some guys click elevation in immediately, some guys don't like to come off their (perceived) zero in the middle of a string, or have been bitten by shading in the past :-)

      @@f-classpointsseries Thanks. Really enjoyed watching the videos. Especially your commentary, very interesting and informative. I am quite sure that my shooting rig is no where near the class of what I saw in the videos but a guy has to start somewhere. I’ll continue to follow your content.
