So far we've had no issues with that. It is a smaller area so not sure if that helps but it is on the wall that gets hit with the sun when it's parked at home. And it is a black trailer so it gets a fair share of heat. The wall it's on is insulated but it will still get hot enough against it to melt Gummy bears lol.
How is the backsplash holding up? Some say it sags in the heat or starts falling off.
