Jean, thanks so much for the tip about putting petroleum jelly on the tip of your glue gun to prevent those spiderweb trailing from the tip. It works!
You are so right about the cost for your projects. So many people don't take into account that many of the supplies are used for more than one project and that many tools are used for years with proper maintenance. By the way, I just happened across your video while watching some other subjects and decided to watch yours. I watched a few. Cute ideas and you have a cute personality.

I made gumball also, I used terra cotta pots for bottom and for the lid I used the saucer you would put under the pot. And the glass bowl like you used. I paint the pots with spray paint and then a sealer. On the lid for a handle used a wooden ball. I also made one for a baby shower and used baby raffle from dollar tree in the decorations dept. I put baby booties and headbands from dollar tree. It was for a girl. Wish I could send a picture. What you made was cool.

Boy how i wish i found you a couple years back!! I was a cheerleading coach and made these for my girls. I spent hundreds on these. Uuuggghhh they turned out really cute but not as cute as yours.
I've commented on this before, I know... But that gum ball machine is too adorable not to watch how to make it again!! I am going to ck my DT again to see if they have all the materials I need to make this with my Granddaughters... They didn't the last time I watched it.. Very cute! Next time, try it with a small Terra cotta pot, with the bottom catch tray. Also very cute, but, less likely to get knocked over by children. 😀😀 Also, on the lid... Find a wood ball, paint it the color of your base and fit down over the dish handle. Super cute, and easier for kids to hold without dropping it.

This gumball machine is awesome! I've made the traditional one with a clay pot and floral globe. I fill mine with chocolates! I can totally see that used in some kinda Asian decor too instead of a gumball machine. Maybe paint the metal part black and fill with flowers!

Hi, got an idea for ya... if you get an old plastic (or wood) lazy susan... you can just rotate your pieces as you paint them. Saves time and you don't have to touch the piece you are painting. Works great for me!! :)

I like how you explain things. It is so important in this day and age to clarify that it may cost more for the viewer. Spray inside a large box. Helps with the wind. This is super cute! I remember reading some where that you should lightly sand the two glass areas that you are attaching with the E6000. Out holds longer. Also don't spray paint the area that you glue. Just a suggestion. I love watching your vedio's. Thank for the great ideas.
