It's a great thing your doing for people with disabilities . Having worked with them for 29 years transporting them from home or a facility to the Drs or hospital you learn so much and appreciate life that much more . A friend was told he couldn't walk because of a spinal cord injury but didn't want to move back home to Warren ,Mich . Stayed in Wash. and now uses a cane to walk and now drives a 4x4. When ever I have a bad day I think of one of them and realize I have it good because they have it so much worst than me so why am I complaining.
You started your hike on one of those years when the rain fall was around 170 percent of the average, hence, lots of wild flowers and some creeks that have water in them when they are normally dry. Good move. Enjoy your hike, Safe Hiking.
