You and your party/guild were swung around and beaten up for just that one piece of equipment you desired, and you were grateful to have them by your side those days or even weeks of hunting. Because you needed eachother. Those friendships last forever. You had to cancel real life plans to accompany you guild on what ever hard task they've came up with and you had to travel all the way across Mapleworld to finally meet them. No fasttravel or any of that shortcut bullsh*t. You had to meet 2 hours before due because people had to travel by boats and plains. And we waited. Because thats what we did. We waited and gathered, one by one. Those were the real days. To all the veterans: it has been an honor serving with you. Who's watching this in 2020? xDDD

I remember playing a relatively popular old school MS server; it was the most popular but hardly any players at all. It felt like a graveyard, I guess not everyone feels like spending countless hours on grinding a level lol.
@@Generatorsarefake maple story private servers have been around for a long time. It’s not really a surprise they aren’t popular anymore. I used to play on several popular servers years back. Maple story was never as big as either wow or RuneScape but nexon is struggling so much with their current version of maple story and how they had to close maple story 2 I think this would be a much better route for them to take. They obviously have no intention of making it but if they released old school on steam it would have a player base.

That game used to be SO good... I remember the time I had a level 48, it took me about 6 months to get to this level, and I used to play a lot. Now...Anybody can get level 100+ in one day with all those bonuses :(. I miss henesys training grounds, PQ's..., I miss the fun I had playing it back then. Now there's no objective.. the only objective would be to buy a million NX with real money and get some insane gear... and then what? having fun in pvp dying from hackers... Nexon is a money-bitch !
EarlSweatDoom it ain't a revamp it's pretty much literally the game re-released like a reset. already over 500 forum accounts which means this might become an actually crowded private server giving more nostalgia with it. just remember the link and check it out when its actually released. It won't be for a while anyways just if you feel like downloading a private server to feel nostalgia, make sure you check if this ones out ;)

MaxLos Don't make me laugh. You think crafting cubes and using reward points will get you decent range? You think 89K range is good? My evan in Reboot has 100K range with absolutely nothing cubed, just Starforced. 89K is trash and you can't kill any decent bosses with that range, nor can you effectively grind. Please come up with a valid argument before responding.
MaxLos Then tell me your level and range with buffs on? 89K clean is still trash. Please counter my argument. Reboot is easier because it eliminates the pay to win aspect and returns maple to what it used to be, where NX is purely cosmetic and is not needed to advance in the game.

i renember old maple too! when kerning city had a forest and it had the music that is currently in mushroom castle (that music is veeeerry old you know) i would say maple would be the best game ever if it had the old maple layout but the chaos EXP nerf, would have so much fun x)
