Extreme Mustang Makeover | Day Five

Howdy! My name is Camille and I have a passion for gentling wild mustangs. Wild horses and burros are overpopulated in the western United States, so to keep population numbers from rising, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) periodically gathers wild mustang and offers them for adoption to eligible homes. This is great info & also interesting to watch. When you mentioned the sound of the pool noodle rubbing her face setting her off, something popped in my head, what about trying something made of silicone which is smooth, maybe a spatula? It wouldn't make a scratchy noise, could that work? Or maybe one of those soft sponges used to apply foundation? I have never worked with mustangs, so if my ideas are silly, just ignore my comment. Kudos to you for helping save & rehome mustangs.

I think personally if the noise was setting the mare off tooo badly that you or her couldn’t continue then Camille might think of using something more quieter but because the mare adjusted quite well and quickly to the fact it made noise and wasn’t gonna hurt her it eventually didn’t matter too much but those are all good ideas :)
