Vernier Caliper

To we discuss the vernier caliper. This is a measuring tool. we discuss its parts. The first part is In-Jaw, out jaw, sliding scale that is called vernier scale. And this is the main scale, And this part is the depth gauge. If you want to measure anything with the help of a vernier caliper. If you want to check the outer dia of any object then we use out jaw. after that lock the reading with the help of a locking screw. Check carefully the main scale line exact match with vernier scale that is your true reading. In this condtion the vernier scale match the main sacale at 24 with zero then your reading will be 24 mm.
If you want to check inner dia then we use in jaw.then now your reading is 17 mm. If you want to measure depth then we use depth gauge. This is procedure to check the depth of any object.Now its depth is nine mm.
