  • "No one is born a Java programmer." The earlier children are introduced to coding, programming, and the professional fields of IT, the more likely those same children are to become enthusiastic about the field. For professions with potential. Professions that actively change the world. With the Erste [Coding] Experience, Erste Digital is actively doing something against the shortage of IT specialists, and with the core competence of its employees, it's paving the way to financial health for less privileged children.
Not every child has the opportunity to come into contact with coding at school or to attend an expensive "coding camp" outside of school. Erste [Coding] Experience gives these children the opportunity to do this. As a non-binding exercise in the afternoon.
Erste Digital wants to support our children to become the shapers of our future. The barriers to pursuit of a career in the digital industry are still great - especially those in the mind. The image of the lonely programmer or nerdy computer geek does not reflect reality. Digital professions have a lot to offer. They are primarily based on teamwork, are creative achievements in bits and bytes and often have a direct impact on the lives of millions of people.
The "IT people" of today shape our world with their actions. At the same time, the field of digitalization is developing at such a rapid pace that it is hardly possible for teaching staff to keep up. The subject of digital basic education in our schools imparts knowledge from the user's point of view, but not from the designer's point of view.
With the Erste [Coding] Experience, Erste Digital introduces children to the occupations of the future, to professions with potential that pay well.

Soooo awesome!!! This is how many of us discovery our path. Someone starts a program to pass along the knowledge and just like that we find something, a purpose, a way to express ourselves in a world that is not designed to hear us.
