With more than 80 breweries in Grand Rapids, Michigan there is more #craftbeer per square mile than almost anywhere on the planet.
Not only that, but they've made a game of it! If you visit eight or more of the #breweries and get your passport stamped, you get a free t-shirt. We decided it was a good idea to knock out this challenge in a single day and silliness ensues.

We had the pleasure of visiting Grand Rapids, Michigan for work. Daniel loves #craftbeer and knew that New Holland Brewing was located in Grand Rapids, so this destination was a must-stop for us. When we went there one evening after work to grab a quick bite of dinner and an adult beverage, the bartender gave us an insider secret. The Grand Rapids tourism department created a challenge that we simply shouldn't miss - The Brewsader Challenge.
In most breweries in Grand Rapids, they have these cute little brewery passports - all you have to do is simply ask for one and the game is on (you can also download the app, but the paper version is really fun to get stamped). Inside you will find 80+ breweries you can visit and they are all within a short #uberride away from downtown Grand Rapids.
The only problem? We only had one full day before we had to go back home. But, after a very mature conversation, we decided that the t-shirt was worth the pain we knew we would endure the morning after. 🤣
For our #pubcrawl, a group of locals helped us craft a list of the best breweries to visit if we had to narrow it down to only eight (yes, there are nine here - we snuck in an extra one).
