CSX / Amtrak operations at the Doswell Diamond, Virginia / Dynamic Brakes

I fanned the Doswell Diamond due to it was listed in my Trains Magazine Hot Spots Guidebook, and due to I now live in the area. The action was already packed upon my arrival. Great place to Fann. The first train I filmed was slowing to enter a siding, with the dynamic brakes a whaling! Always good to hear some old-school dynamic brakes winding-down, music to my ears. Absolutely love them old SD40's. Enjoy......

Hello Ben. This is Joe from Baltimore. Excellent work. I've never been to the Doswell Diamond. I've only seen it from a distance when crossing over the former C&O main on I-95. It was interesting to see the layout of the area with the sidings and all. A nice mix of action. It's nice to see the former C&O line still getting some use.
