Policies. It’s what the people of Chicago voted for when voting these people in. If laws changed to accommodate criminals then the judges and police and so forth can’t do much but follow the law/policies. And yes they did vote for lesser consequences to be imposed on certain crimes but we know, it’s just opens it up for them to commit more heinous or violent acts

Where was the mother of the teen who shot the gun, once they cut off the ankle monitor should automatically be arrested and in Jail and the parents are still responsible for the 16 year old, I guess she let him do whatever he wanted to do
