New J-Turn Intersection in Macon, Illinois

This new J-Turn type intersection was constructed by the Illinois Department of Transportation in summer 2019. It is located at the intersection of US-51 and Andrews Street Road in Macon, Illinois. This is a new intersection type for Illinois, and it should greatly improve the safety of the intersection.
