    We called 500cc singles "poppers'" back in the 50's. Great sound.

    The Bike is in the UK it is 1947 but bike is not an original bike it was put together back in the day from bits when people knew how to do these bikes properly, The bike has raced the Isle of Man TT in its day but with different engine. It has been for sale on ebay before and had lots of interest but the owner has decided to keep it and is not currently for sale.

      Maurice Bertrand That is a standard original BSA 8 inch front brake.

      I agree that is a 8inch front brake but they were not on your model as far as I remember they came out in the1950/60s yours is a very early model ridgid back end and girder forks I would guess pre or just after ww2
