Lego extended 60355 Train Station mod

- I wanted another station for my newer Lego passenger trains and decided to extend the 60355 Train Station set. I will probably use this with the more modern sets and use my 2150 mod for the 9v era trains.

Maybe with the train station you could combine the two towers together to make a wider one.😀👍
Nice. MOD. I would have built the control tower as one unit instead of two separate. In real life they would usually have just one, but bigger stations have a bigger one.

For the station you could make it a short platform. It could be SP4 or SP#4. If you dont know in Australia, we save money and so a thing called Short Platforms. If you want to get out at your one the people wpuld have to disembark and alight from the Front 4 cars or Rear 4 cars depending on the location of the station. What I mean by that is if a station was right in front of a hill or tunnel than they would do front. If it was in an area with no tunnels directly in front than they would do they rear carriages since the guard can monitor them. A guard is the person which checks the people boarding and also makes announcements or types them.
Interesting, I hadn't heard of short platforms. I may have to implement that into a layout 👍

Wowowow that station looks awesome!! I think you chose a good train for it too - the muted colours of the train contrast the blue and green of the station nicely.

Maybe combine the two towers together in the center so you have one larger tower that can fit 2 controllers.
