    Very good instructional video with great camera shots. Getting ready to install an s&s 475c cam chest kit in a 19 road glide. Changing exhaust @ the same time to help take advantage of the new cam. Not worried about the cops here in N. E. FL. They rarely bother bikes with louder pipes. Again, very well done video…keep em coming!

    Great video as always but id point out two things. First whenever removing o2 sensers always unplug them and wait to remove them after you take the pipe off the bike. Its very easy to damage one by not doing it this way. Second, never reuse head bolt nuts. Says it in your service manuel. They warp due to high heat and when reused can potentially damage the threads leading to a much more involved repair plus 4 new nuts are pretty cheap to avoid this. Bikes looking great brother. Keep up the great work.

    • @RAIDERWORLD
      @RAIDERWORLD  Před 2 lety +1

      Absolutely appreciate the feedback! I did read that in the service manual, but I’ve never ran into a problem before. • @mikepsly73
    @mikepsly73 Před rokem

    You're gonna have to invest in that dynojet powervision tuner and target tune if you want that aftermarket market cam set up.
    I've got all my parts for the aftermarket stage 2 upgrade accept the headpipe.SS 475c cam chest kit, Dyno jet pv2 tuner, Dyno jet target tune, fueling vented dipstick, tab 4.5" zombies, RC components hiflo intake. Still debating on the tab 2-2 or 2-1-2 headpipe.
    If I'm not getting enough torque out of that setup. instead of going with the tab coned performance rings, I'm just gonna slip a 2.5 louvered baffle in the right can and run a zombie on the left. Everyone has been saying that's the shiznits.

    • @RAIDERWORLD
      @RAIDERWORLD  Před rokem +1

      I have the Dynojet Auto tunner that I’ll be installing soon. Was waiting on some parts from Feuling, so make sure to look out for those videos.

    • @mikepsly73
      @mikepsly73 Před rokem

      @@RAIDERWORLD I know fueling is top notch. The one thing that I read that is recommended but not required is using their beehive valve springs if you're going with their 472 reaper cam due to valve train noise. Well shit man, I'm no mechanic but it's to my understanding you gotta take your motor apart to get to where those are at. I got quoted 8 hours labor just for that.
      That's why I went with the SS man. That 475 is the best sounding cam out there and it also holds it own if I decide to go with a big bore kit later on down the road.

      @mikepsly73 Před rokem

      @@RAIDERWORLD another this is to if I remember correctly without looking it up. I don't think fueling has an aftermarket chain tensioner for the cam with the M8.
      Upgraded Screaming eagle and SS were the only ones I could find that made upgraded chain tensioners for the cam on M8.
      I looked all this shit up just recently.

    • @mikepsly73
      @mikepsly73 Před rokem

      @@RAIDERWORLD so you have a power commander tuner that works with the auto tune. The only thing I didn't like about the power commander is that it blocks your bikes ecm CPU and sends out its own program and has to stay plugged in. Just one more component that has the possibility of failure. The powervision that works with the target tune actually intergrades with the CPU and doesn't have to stay plugged in.
      I'll be the first to admit I'm no mechanic, but I really dove in your videos, moonshine Harley, tab, and some others. Made phonecalls to dynojet and SS to buy the correct parts myself.

      I’m currently running a stock 114 engine, so it’s not going to give mind blowing numbers. Im doing this project in stages, so I’m curious to see what the numbers will be once I go to a stage 4. I personally get a better feel with the seat dyno, so I’m happy with it 👍🏽

    True duals are ok but if you want to make real power then you'll have to go to a 2-1-2 or a 2-1

      I definitely like both! I’m looking forward to see the difference when I add the cam

      @@RAIDERWORLD it will make a difference but I've built a lot of Harleys and I've found that for most bikes d&d is the best pipe to go with if your looking for a torque monster of a bike and I would go for a dark horse compensator because it's way better than Harleys junk and don't forget rocker studs when you can it

      Actually the dudes at tab said their 2-1-2 headers put out the same performance as the 2-2. The numbers were basically the same. The only difference is that if you want to change the look of your bike by going with the 2-2 headers which are about $300 more than the 2-1-2 headers that use the stock oem heat shields.

    I have tabs on my 2020 RG and getting a stage 2 (by H_D) this month if I get those headers will it void the warranty your bike sounds good a thanks for the video?

      That’s awesome! Unfortunately, yes. They will most likely void your warranty as far as the engine. I haven’t actually checked with my dealership, but this is why I used the Screamin Eagle Pro Street Tuner from Harley. That way the ECM is still reading a Harley Product Map

      I'm out here in Socal and my dealer told me if I use the S.E.P.S.T my warranty is not voided. I'm going to put tab headers and slip-ons on my street glide when i put the stage 2 on
