i’m not good at giving justifications for silk song rankings at all so the videos i make featuring monstercat silk will include ratings and rankings but no reasonings! i hope you understand where i’m coming from as it’s difficult for me to find such a huge vocabulary for primarily ‘chill’ tracks that i don’t listen to a lot of anyway. i‘ll include reasonings for songs i find really good and ones i’m not huge on.
Familiar Faces Review:
Just, wow. A.M.R’s album is one fuck of a beautiful work of art and may well be one of my favourite monstercat albums full stop. Ten amazing cuts all scoring a 7 or over, 6 of which scoring 8s or more. Listen for yourself if you don’t believe me.

Unpopular opinion: A.M.R'S Familiar Faces LP wasn't so interesting for me, not a bit. lucid by Zensei deserved to be a bit higher imo.
i do have a preference to zensei’s house tunes over his lofi, haunted definitely deserves its 8/10
his lofi is definitely good but it’s not a style i find much replayability in- but it’s great for a study session or a late night chill sorta thing rather than a ranking like this imo
@@zadinx As always, your opinions are respectable and reasonable. haunted is a good song, although lucid it's a lovely dreamy landscape Lofi tune for me. Yeah, I'm a Lofi/Chillout guy.
@israelmorales1599 as are yours! i’ve been meaning to check out more chill music for ages now and zensei surprised me with how much i’d been missing out on
