It's a bitter reality. A lot of conservative Hindus still try to justify and say this does not exist but it is very much there. People try to ask your 'background.' Would not rent houses to people who eat non-veg, would not share plates or anything. Modern people say 'it is their choice' when it is just systematized discrimination, which has been normalised from centuries.
Can you eat pig in muslim area in india ? no , you can't then why do you want hindus to always compromise ? . I am a rajput from uttrakhand and in my village i eat various kinds of meat such as rabbit meat , pig meat e.t.c but that doesn't mean i will eat them in delhi .

idk why indian people forgot their own roots and have diff dishes to serve people because honestly saying we hindus have diff dishes for veg and non veg stuff like the dish in which we eat non veg is kept in diff section and our guest whichever religion or caste get served into new dishes which we are not allowed to touch cuz atithi devo bhava ..as guests are gods
Yeah. I know about the different dishes for veg and non-veg. My Dada has his own dishes that are kept aside. When he comes to from India to visit he will use those utensils. When my friend was explaining the other situation to me it sounded super strict.
@@ChaatNChat maybe cuz yes in some states caste issue is a real deal and being honest with u i dont give a shit on caste as long the man is good but observed it in my village 3 times 2 times when my grandparents died and 1 time when our house was constructed and it was the same for 3 times .... all the guests and people from the 3 upper castes were fed early for lunch and a table and chair was given to them to eat like they all ate lunch by 2pm and thats standard for india but all the lower caste were served food a bit away from our place at 4pm without table and chair only a matress was given to them i asked my dad why did he did such thing he said i dont believe in caste thing but if i included everyone at same place then many upper caste people would have not eaten food and that would create a mess cuz they are our guest and i felt really bad .. now i will marry in the same village and will include everyone to eat at the same place and if u dont wanna eat then f8ck off.. cuz krishn says in Gita that ur caste is what u do not the one u are born with

@@MrRahul6464 i am from bihar and have lived in many states and yes it is true .. in bihar villages caste topic is a bit sour and all i wrote is my personal experience .. me and my dad does not believes in it because for majority of times we are in delhi or gujarat .. but have never seen in mp was there for 3 years, bengal was there for 1 yr assam was there for 3 years, himachal was there for 1 year gujarat was there for 3 years , punjab was there for 3 years or delhi .. but in villages in bihar u will find most toxic people and believe me they can be toxic on any other topics too like they are hell judgemental

Reason for different utensils is vegetarians keep rituals which are purist in nature. A vegetarian family won't share same utensils with stranger or a known person who is a non vegetarian. It has nothing to do with caste. Majority of Brahmins & Vaishayas are vegetarians. & Shudras & Kshatriyas have higher non vegetarian population. Also this data changes with regions too.

Indians didn't followed the caste system it was introduced by the Portuguese and the British colonizers who didn't understood the system of Jati and Varna that was present. Similar caste system was also introduced in Africa. 'Caste' comes from the word 'Casta' which was used as a racial and social identifier in Portugal.

All 4 are classes and not based on birth... If there is a real hindu they should believe in Bhagvad Gita not in the Puranas... Puranas were wrongly translated in many parts and because of that the real translation and meaning were lost during the time of invaders.
Originally not based on birth, but over last several centuries certainly based on birth. There is nothing to be defensive about historical wrongs. All cultures have their share of skeletons in the cupboard. The point is to recognize an issue and work towards a more egalitarian society.
Another thing, Hinduism is not an abrahamic religion with a particular holy book and prophet or list of dos and don't. It is a democratic religion giving each person freedom of belief. It doesn't matter if the person follows Vedas or Gita or puranas or upanishads or none at all. There is no "real hindu" and " unreal hindu". If a person considers himself a Hindu , he is a Hindu 😊

About caste system - it is getting diluted with every generation. The generation of grandparents was quite caste abiding, generation of our parents didn't discriminate but inter-caste marriages were not an option. Our generation doesn't discriminate and can marry but it's looked down upon.
Now there is a new way of discrimination/hatred taking birth in people of general/upper castes because a lot of reservation of seats is given to lower castes in competitive exams, government jobs.
New upper caste generation has a seed of hatred in them, they don't discriminate on the basis of upper - lower caste but they surely don't like them. In a way government's way of reducing discrimination is going to increase the gap in hearts of people of new generations and as competition increases.

@@AniketKumar-dj8jyi don't hate them. But i get irritated by constant whining. Once i invited my college friends to home. Few of them were Dalits. All my friends were exploring my home. When we were about to enter kitchen. My mom asked everyone to take of their shoes/sandals before entering kitchen. Few days later i got to know that those dalit friends spread rumor about my mom in college that she is casteist as they were asked to remove shoes.
Normally we don't even let our outside shoes in the home. Kitchen & temple are the cleanest section of the house. I regretted inviting them home.

If you are talking about the comment about my friends house. It was all veg food but if you weren't from the same background as them they had different dishes for those guests. His family was very strict about it.
@@ChaatNChat its like the same in my house too we have 3 utensils 1 is fiber plastic one which we use to eat non veg and is kept at different place ..one is stainless steel one which is used daily and one is for guests which is the most expensive and new ones and are of glass and stainless steel or bronze and are used in holi and diwali .. ask ur friend about this does he have the same because majority of india in urban side don;t even asks ur caste maybe he is from rural side of india
