The first time I heard this I thought it was pretty, but the second time I immediately burst into tears as soon as she started singing. Truly a beautiful song.
This song is so inspiring to me. It's sounds like the voice of an angel or Mother Nature, calling me to if she could sing. And she does sing to us, and will pick up the pieces of pain for us, if we follow our hearts. At least I hope so. Just can't express how comforted I feel by the nurturing power of her voice that exudes love, bravery, and peace. I also just burst into tears, tears having witnessed something so beautiful, touching, and totally overwhelming all at once, because it's time for me to start it all over again, and I've been afraid. In my darkest hours, this song will carry me.
Lyrics as best as I can: And the sea that surrounds you The garden that grounds you The sun and the wind and the rain I am every season You're every reason to start it all over again. Soon you'll sail the wild river We'll set sail together And oceans will call out your name And by stars you will follow Your hopes for tomorrow And Start it all over again. Start it all over again. (Instrumental) If you stagger or stumble If dreams start to crumble I'll pick up the pieces of pain I will cradle you Cry with you Pray that you'll try to just Start it all over again. Start it all over again. Whose eyes that can see All the things you could be Whose ears for the sweetest refrain May your heart sing forever Where the sea meets the river And Start it All Over Again... Start it All Over Start it All Over Again. (Instrumental)

I’ve sung this song to my daughters for 20 years.
Such a beautiful song.... Thank you so much for uploading
A very sad song written by Karine in honour to the late Davy Steele.
Is that her mother, I remember when she played this song live she dedicated it to her mom.
Lyrics as best as I can:
And the sea that surrounds you
The garden that grounds you
The sun and the wind and the rain
I am every season
You're every reason to start it all over again.
Soon you'll sail the wild river
We'll set sail together
And oceans will call out your name
And by stars you will follow
Your hopes for tomorrow
And Start it all over again.
Start it all over again.
(Instrumental)
If you stagger or stumble
If dreams start to crumble
I'll pick up the pieces of pain
I will cradle you
Cry with you
Pray that you'll try to just
Start it all over again.
Start it all over again.
Whose eyes that can see
All the things you could be
Whose ears for the sweetest refrain
May your heart sing forever
Where the sea meets the river
And Start it All Over Again...
Start it All Over
Start it All Over Again.
(Instrumental)
Is there a gaelic version of this?
