  • The Annual MSC Conference brings together members of AhlulBayt Islamic Societies from across the UK for a unique and inspiring day consisting of a panel discussion, an exhibition of external organisations that may be of benefit to members, and carefully selected workshops supplementing the conference theme and discussion.
In the first of 3 talks at the 2012 Annual MSC Conference, Dr Sadr outlines the potential of utilising the ABSoc platform to maximise the short time a student has in University to become and advocate of humanity on campus using the core Islamic principles. He emphasises the importance of getting involved with other socieites (faith-based and secular), be it actively within the committees, or in collaboration, to address, understand and tackle contemporary social and political issues such as Poverty, Family Relations, Ethics & Morals, Limited Fuel Resources and the Economic System.
Q&A: Dr Sadr provides an insight into other fields of work that aim to develop students and professionals including the MSC Alumni Network.
At around 3:50, Dr Sadr cites Imam Ali's (as) letter to Imam Hassan (as), providing an example from the Ahlulbayt of how we can utilise the student platform. The letter can be found www.al-islam.or...
