Kevin. As you like bashing and smashing Rc’s so much I’m surprised you have not had a look at the Mardave metal stock cars. They are an obscure UK made car as I’m sure you know and they look like a lot of fun. The aim is to dent and wreck. Mardave seems to never get any exposure and is an old skool and overlooked RC community.

These little truck racers do look and seem like alot of fun, also shout out to the guy who did the commentary for the actual race!
Fantastic! Affordable, spec-class racing always delivers the most fun. The trucks look great, too! Plenty of scope for personalisation, without changing the performance.

This is awesome! I'm going to talk it over with my RC race club to see if we can do a class with these trucks. I love it Kev! They look so cool!
The Tamiya TT-01 chassis is fairly common and has quite the few variants and comes with a nice selection of bodies. You can have a Lancer, Subaru, Audi, BMW, Mercedes, all built on the TT-01 chassis. Plenty of upgrade options which makes it a great starter platform but also leaves enough room to go pro with it. Just the chassis here is 99 euros and for one that has a shell on it you'd be spending about 120 - 150 euros excluding the electrics.
I use one aswell, def one of the best cheap options

Can confirm South Cambs RC club is very very welcoming. Always have a great time there even when it all goes wrong and everything breaks
They used to have 24hr races over here in the states using the tt01e platform. Still have mine. Pure crazy fun. More fun and track time in 1wkend that you get in a whole asphalt or carpet season. -U10

Looks like it was some super fun racing. Sometimes getting back to basics and less cash frustrations prep is the most fun.

I bought one last year and havent raced it yet. love that my tracks only allow bearings and you have to run the pogo stick shocks. Atleast 30 trucks show up for races

What a glorious club. It's a great move to these cheap but fun self built cars. That's the way to do it. Lots of cheap racing with a bit of a wager perhaps, and for those who want to, high budget racing for absolutely no trophies or gains 😀
We race these all the time but follow the Tamiya race series rules, no upgrades except for bearings. You can grease the kit shocks, but no other modifications. Ton's of fun and super even racing.
We race these on an oval carpet track in Nova Scotia. Slightly more modified, aluminum drives haft and we are running brushless motors. They are great fun!

Remember years ago doing Tamiya stock stuff. Had the old TA02 chassis with the old touring car Mondeo shell, then later a Calibre body shell. Some brilliant racing

looks like fun one of the big reasons people get out of rc racing is the costs can really skyrocket. having a stock class with everyone running the same car is a great idea.

This TT truck class is so incredible. Just like TT02, anyone can build it (Im a gorilla and built one that races). Great to see it highlighted on your channel.
The Eurotruck class is a great class as long as there's not a lot of cheating. It is fun. It was a great idea to cover this class.

I keep looking at these trucks. They look epic. You should try the MB-01 Chassis next mate. Just as cheap and you can change the chassis config easily. Be interesting to see what you make of it.
you and friends should go to arc raceway again and do a scale race with UDR's losi SBR' and baja reys. or at least take your UDR for a bash again haven't seen that off the shelf in a very long time, great racing kev!

I wouldn't mind giving this type of racing a go. Do you have to use the TT-01 chassis or can the TT-02 chassis be used also?
These TT chassis are awesome for anyone to join in the fun i wish they had more of a cabover body since its the real life version races seem to have more a euro body than american

at my local track we only race clay 2wd and 4wd buggies and then circle track racing -_- I wish we had a group near me racing carpet like this or even outdoor pavement trrack!

I don’t know if you see him anymore but I usually tune in a lot later I’m working longer, but I still watch everything man several several times each you’re the greatest CZcamsr on the planet, I don’t care about numbers
lol Can't expose the youtubers who don't actually know how to drive when all they do is bash in a parking lot LOL! Our local track has a spec class for these to race box stock & everyone has to run the same 2C Lipo they're so fun!! We also created another class with these kits basically same as box stock except you were allowed to change the gearing, center drive shaft, run bearings and had to have a truck style racing body ( nastruck type body) but that was it. They're the most fun! Spec classes are always the best!

me and my mate use to use mad bulls to race was awesome fun!! although we now mainly race hobao vt's now as the seem to last better in my mates barn lol just run mine on 3s and my mate runs his on 2s and there more than fast enough, don't run mine on 2s as my esc won't work on 2s
